most devs aren't native english speakers but learn the difference between YOUR and YOU'RE it's not that hard.
The English speaker Americans are just as capable of writing bad English as anyone else. And even more capable, judging by the discussions I have with them ;). Many write YOUR when YOU'RE is needed.
And then there are all those Americans who confuse 'THEN' and 'THAN' or gibber incomprehensible slang for an English (That's what a lot of British people say! )
Most non-English speakers use translators, and there are no mistakes there. Most English mistakes are made by English speakers

Just as, from experience, I can say that it's the French and the Spanish who make the most mistakes in French and Spanish.
Never forget that there are more non-English speakers than English speakers in the world.

BTW, there are two grammatical errors in your message.
Nobody's perfect, as it is said in "Some like it hot" ! :p ;)

Haha, fair enough, Never said that I was perfect myself . Hell, my English might even be better than my native language.
But you'd think with a ren'py game (usually heavily reliant on a good written story) that they would pay more attention to such thing.

And I personally think they did. Because other than a few irrelevant grammatical errors the writing is pretty good imho. The important things in a VN are story and characters. And both are executed very well here I think.

I wouldn't necessarily say a few but a handfull. Pretty sure they spellchecked every now and then but I still see misspelled words here and there. It just dissapointed me thats all.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to bash the game, just giving my critique.

You'd be surprised at the number of native English speakers who can't grasp that...
No, I wouldn't. The non-native English speakers look to those born into it for correct examples and it's embarrassing. Even worse is the total confusion between lose and loose. If you lose something, it is LOST. If something is loose, it is BARELY CONNECTED. They are not interchangeable. I only posted this one time because the word "loose" is being used so often incorrectly that it has started to be accepted as canon by many, including native English speakers.

I do love this game though, and this has nothing to do with that. :geek:
