Also note, just in general creator donation sites have been becoming anti-porn either because of policy or banks are pushing for anti-porn policies.
It's just a slow spiral stemming from late 2000's and it's much bigger than just porn. Basically companies like Visa/Mastercard are pulling all of the strings, and unless countries actually push back and start saying no it will continue. Japan is currently doing the best at this.
Just a group of wealthy individuals making profit through societal dissociation and trying to (it's way past trying at this point) enforce their ideals onto everyone else.
The amusing part is from an outside point of view if you look closely you'll see all the individual motives and tendencies. The thing they all have in common is division and control.
There's plenty of articles and journalistic research that has gone to investigate the organizations behind this push. They are usually large shareholders on companies like Visa and then enforce their moral view on things like porn to the company policy making.
I know this VN is abandoned, but wanted to try it anyway. This mod is great except there is no Gallery option? It doesn't even say the mod is installed but correct choices are highlighted in green so I'm not sure what's wrong. Also This post says it's updated to the latest version of the game (game version 0.07v8 and mod version 0.9) but the file is 0.07v2, that wouldn't seem to matter but it's the only thing I can think of as to why it's not fully working for me. Since I've installed many mods like this and haven't run into an issue where only part of the mod works. But maybe I'm just wrong?

It's not that difficult to extract the CG content from a ren'py game, especially one that is not going to be updated anymore. Not really any need for an updating gallery mod if no new content is ever going to be added again.
Not unless you treat it like a hobby project like he initially did. But, you know, renders and stuff won't license themselves, and then there's the "time sunk into production"-cost, as well... It's not like building a LEGO Death Star, ya know?

something is up because 3 months isn't enough time for an abandoned tag unless the rules changed.
As have been stated previously on the thread. Patreon is having crack down on lewd content and kicked dev off, subscribestar hasn't responded on the devs attempts to make an account there to continue monetizing and other sources failed. So development of this game has stopped for those reasons.
