VN Ren'Py Abandoned But I'm the Bad Guy? [v0.081] [DLGB]

Hey everyone, I still can’t find the original environments and body/skin/hair models for Oliver, Alice, Mrs Braum, Tyler, or the MC (I only found the beard for the MC and neighborhood). Also Hailey's original body and skin. So here’s what I’m going to do:


I’m setting up a Discord server for the new game. (It's still empty for now)

If anyone manages to find any of those assets, you’ll receive a high-rank role on the server with free early access to the updates.

** To be transparent: yes, there will be higher roles (for future supporters) with even earlier access, but this is still a top-tier rank, and if you're interested, you could even become a moderator.

Hey, just wanted to say a big thank you for your message, seriously, your feedback and ideas were incredibly helpful. I really appreciate the support.

I’ve already created a lot of new characters (including new girls like Hailey if you know what I mean ), but my main issue right now is that I still can’t find the original models for Alice, Oliver, Mrs Braum, Tyler, or the MC.

Hopefully you can find something even a little similar for the others. The MC was a bit of a unique model, but I didn't feel any attachment to him. If you had to replace his model I don't think it would be a really big deal in the end. And it'd be one less thing to worry about.

At the end of the day, try not to bury yourself in the exact replication of non-existent assets, or you'll burn yourself out a little before the coding/rendering even gets started. If the models are "good enough" and well proportioned / good looking, then it's good enough.

Totally agree. You don’t need the exact same models if you can’t find them—just go for the same vibe. Curvy MILF for Alice, wimpy guy for Oliver, etc.

Hi, I agree with the previous comments. You could create a similar story with the same plot but different characters if you can't find the same ones from this game. The image of the new Riley is excellent, but he should be more masculine like the original. And another thing, my friend, you'll get a lot of comments, both nice and nasty, just focus on the nice ones. Keep going, you're already doing a lot!

Hopefully we get some incest with the MC, Hailey and Riley. More Tyler if the asset can be found, maybe Tyler and his mom. Bestiality with central characters which never got around to implementation in the og. Maybe MC could be Hailey and Riley's dad since it's a new story and Oliver's asset can't be found and would save making yet another asset and I personally didn't like the sidestory whenever he came in.
Hailey's face looks good to me but overall something seems a bit off but I can't quite pinpoint it yet. Maybe her butt isn't as round or her proportions as others have said Idk.
Riley's ass and dick look good but wish his face were able to be replicated at least but I get it.
Never cared for the og MC either.
Too bad their Discord link is dead and last I checked he abandoned it again long ago.
Could we get a few more angles of current charters and if you change them maybe some before and after for us to compare 1:1?

It's really close enough if you ask me, just play with shadows and color and you got it, and ofc her body must be similar to Haley imo

This one is really impressive, almost 1:1. With good lighting, they will be indistinguishable.

The differences are hardly noticeable. The lighting is very different, but the model itself is almost th same. Frankly I found your result to have a more beautful face. Perhaps a younger version of the oiginal? You can spend a decade twealking it for small details, but prsonally I don't think it's necessary. You don't need to match the original with upmost precision.

Spectacular, really well done! There are some differences, like the nose for example, and part of the eyes are more almond-shaped in the original, but it's true, it doesn't have to be exactly the same. And I really like your model better than the original; she looks fresher and younger. Excellent, my friend!

Yeah, see... The thing about your "argument" is that the dev himself stated that this project was so impossible to market through the usual channels (Patreon, Substar, etc.) that he had to make it for free, and simply paying for the costs of it out of pocket. So no, it's very unlikely he abandoned it simply because it was "unprofitable."
