It absolutely does matter. The dev may have written the MC as forgiving the mother after they talked it out but I as the reader wasn't sold at all. For this to work you have to actually convince the reader and make it believable. From my perspective the MC looks like a fucking moron for trusting her again after that stunt.

It's easily my biggest issue with this game thus far, even though I otherwise enjoy it.

I agree, the mother should have had consequences from her despicable action against her son and their family business. Her acting like a dumb blonde is no excuse, she should totally be making it up to MC...maybe giving him a great sloppy blow job or something more .

And maybe have the mom show more remorse for her total fucked up choice of not keeping MC in the loop, instead of MC balls shrinking like raisins and forgiving her for such a cunt move.

Haha I wouldn't have put it exactly like that but in essence, yes. If the mother had shown more remorse and contrition for what she did I'd be more likely to buy it and forgive her. Instead she gives her excuses and the MC just accepts them.

I guess the plot twist would be, dev intentionally riling up the players in order to deliver an hour long lovemaking scene between mommy and mc.

On a serious note, i agree with Daermon420 with his/her assessment regarding this whole situation.
This is pretty much the only thing which do not sit well with me in an otherwise very decent game, so far.

for some of the women the devs stat says love, but it is actually submission. One of those is the oldest sister. Love is mc submission. I didn't have any scene issues in the update with the sisters. My love is higher, dom is higher for Naomi. But none of hers was off

My biggest gripe is not the bio mom, she's a minor side character at this point, but more on the fact that after 11 updates, we are still seeing the same fucking thing every update:
The MC proceeds to spend 65 - 90% of his time with the Nakamuras. I mean, I get it, they are the loving family he probably should have had, but Jesus tapdancing Christ! We have a ridiculous amount of other LIs listed on the relationship codex, practically a whole city full, and meanwhile we've seen near fuck all of ANY development with anyone OUTSIDE of the Nakamuras.

Regarding the MC's actual blood related family, yes, we got some progress with the eldest sis, and youngest sis, but we are at a snails pace with the bitchy twin sis and the mom, who at this point are more tied to the plot than the other 2. Nakamuras aside, we have seen the occasional odd side girl get some time with the MC, but none of it is of any relevance or significance in regards to the plot... you know, the WHOLE REASON WHY THE MC WENT BACK HOME FOR REVENGE IN THE FIRST PLACE? Maybe I'm wrong, or missed something but too little of any actual progress is being stalled just to keep giving us more sex scenes with the Nakamura sisters instead of advancing the story. I also feel like what little progress we seem to be getting, it is happening offscreen instead of informing the player what the plan is and what is going on.

Played this game a few times.

Almost always went the Dom route.

Tried the Love path this time around and I got to admit besides 1 avoidable choice(thanks dev), none of the other choices made it so something crazy happens to MC.

Overall an enjoyable experience, looking forward to more updates.

Guess I am back on the Dom route next patch.

When the MC first came back to town and reconnected with his family one of the first things he did was inform them of his plans at that board meeting. Even going so far as to take the time to sit down and convince his sisters to support him.

Hell, from what I recall I believe the mother even gives the MC some advice on how to convince his sisters. While knowing the entire time it didn't matter because she was going to vote against anyway.

So the mother knew exactly what he had planned. If she actually gave a shit about him, she would have told him before the meeting that he wouldn't have her support so he didn't look like a damn idiot in front of the entire board when she voted against him.

Instead she watched him plan, convince his sisters, go to the meeting and only then fuck him over in front of everyone there without warning him.

I've only recently started this VN and ended up for the most part on a dominant path, I remember only one company meeting.

It happens without the mother being there, is the other shareholders who tell the MC his family actually sided against him becoming CEO, but all this takes place before he has the conversation with the mother to convince the sisters.
After that nothing really happens (again I haven't played the last update) on that side of things, except the scenes where the MC convince 2 of the sisters.

Did I miss something (I mean besides the latest update)? Or is it something related to the type of relationships the MC has (like it happens only if he's submissive)?

I just finished the love route a few hours ago.

At this current patch it doesn't matter what route you go honestly.

The only difference it makes is that the dialogue is a little different and it plays a different scene for one of the MILF's you are seeing.

Love route gives you some Mommy role play and the normal route has you ravish her (sweet scene).

With that being said, Naomi tries to pull a fast one on the love route, but you can stop her.

My guess is that going full Dom route is the way to go with subsequent updates.

Yeah you're right, it's been a while since I played through the start and I got the order of events wrong.

Still doesn't change the fact that his mother obviously knew about the board meeting and should have given him heads up she was not going to vote with him beforehand, since he did visit them and she had plenty of opportunity to do so. Instead choosing to withhold that information in favor of backstabbing him in front of the board. Doesn't matter if she wasn't there in person, its her vote that counted, not her physical presence in the room. The fact that she didn't even do it in person, instead having some other board member relay the news is even more insulting imo.

The sheer fact that she voted together with the assholes that ruined her family, probably killed her husband and drove her son away, against her own son, is why I'll never trust her. She knowingly chose to side with people who've been actively attacking her family in one way or another for years at that point. And the excuses she used to try and justify it rang hollow to me. If you're going to make a character do a heel turn like that you can't just expect everyone to immediately forgive them or even like them after.

And if you want a character to be liked you shouldn't have one of their first acts in the game after meeting them be screwing the protagonist over.

Honestly between the mother and the absolute bitch of a twin sister I'm glad he spends so much time with the Nakamuras instead. I actually like the Nakamura family. Can't say the same about his biological one.
