Perception is reality so the version of Sami in whatever universe is who she is. To try to suddenly have some sort of magical power and complete personality shift occur in 'reality', or where Sami is her true self, would break the story, no?
I mean....we do have the time loop thingys that alter the characters already xD

The idea is not THAT far fetched.

Think either Jenny's Maiden corruption is broken (get an error at the start of Sunday Midnight when attempting) or I just need to start a fresh save file.

Edit: Just tried the other path, not working either.

That's the point.. Time Loops are not 'reality'. The only reason the characters change is because of these loops. It would make zero sense to have the characters change in 'reality' based on having gone through a dozen time loops or so.

Not unless they have clear psychological issues. Leave the personality changes in the time loops where they belong, as the story fits that way.

I fear I fundamentally don't understand xD

The whole point of these timeloops are to change things so that it also changes in the past. Hence creating a new reality for you to start over.

After several timeloops the characters changes. Maybe in one timeloop you can do something that also changes the personality. Coming from the initial post that someone might become a bimbo in how they dress or act.

Don't we already have personality changes in the game?
Based on what I played all the woman have psycholocial issues in that game that gets resolved one way or another.

Lastly the whole point of the game is going through all the loops, possibly break it and have one singular timeline or reality with all the changes and resolved traumatas you made along the way.

The end of the game WILL BE a new reality. A better one for everyone included. And to achieve that you altered things. Thats how I understood the game anyway xD

The game has a shit ton of content, and is for the most part not that hard to unlock and very easily repeatable.
Adding a gallery to the game would require a shit ton of unnecessary work (potentially a few months worth of work) that would delay new content and improvements made to the hint/guide.

If anyone is lazy, it's you. It seem like you just want to see the content without any effort, if that's what you want then you can just use unren to unpack the .rpa files and you can access all the CGs and videos.

It is indeed disheartening to be called Lazy after working 60+ hour weeks for 3 years straight and never once missing a weekly build or release. Though they don't actually have to unpack any rpa files to get the renders and videos as those are not packaged.

The largest problem with a gallery is... What even is a gallery? Sure, for something like summertime saga it makes a lot of sense, you walk up to a girl and say "lets fuck" and then you fuck, a nice discreet scene to add to a replay gallery. For Cabin... The sex scenes aren't exactly that long... and even then they often have differences depending on corruption level and have new parts added to them as development happens. There isn't a good way to do that from a code architecture standpoint.

Is it just a list of pictures that unlock as you see them? I guess that's not too bad, all I'd have to do is comb through the entire game and sort out all 1200 items and put them in a usable menu by hand. Which is doable, but we're talking about at least a months worth of work.

And that gets to the real problem here... Development is a job of managing what has to be done at what times and prioritising it. At the end of the day... I think we all know the games got problems, I'm not gonna gloss over that, I need to recognise them so that I can fix them. I've been working on the new corruption system all year and the reason why it's been taking so long is that I just don't leave myself much time for systems development. Part of my principals is that the content train doesn't stop.

Priority number one is that, every week, there is new content. That might not show in this build's changelog, but that's because it is a leak and you are only getting the 41c changelog and not the a or b parts of it, let alone the version 40 part.

None of this taking 3 months off without delivering anything and coming back with an upgrade that no one can see because it's all under the hood.

There is just so much work to do, and I'm just one Nunu.

So why isn't there a gallery? It's just a lower priority than everything else I've been doing.

Best way to implement a "gallery" in this game, should you decide to (maybe for the final version?) would imo just be a "next scene" list accessible only from the pause screen during gameplay that snapshots the current variables in the run, and skips you to the start of that scene, with ones that are not currently possible/need something else first being inaccessible/greyed out. Skipping would also be a great feature from a user standpoint as a cheat of some sort, as you could skip dialogue you already read before but kept messing up the exact way to the next scene/unlock.
