In the end I wasn't able to reproduce it either, but it doesn't seem to have happened after we tried to ensure game and engine were in the same drive.

Been quite awhile since my last playthrough. Did my boi Gaspar (the shady fellow you meet in the intro) get anymore scenes?
He is one of the few things left on my "to-do" list. He only has 2 scenes so far, so I don't know if those were there when you last played. He is Erica's one and only whipping boy, a much coveted status. XD

Funnily enough I do have almost all of the art in HD resolution (minus some edits), so it would be theoretically possible. I can't imagine it ever happening, though, as it would still take a ton of time.
Has anybody been able to find "The King's Checkered Battlefield" in the Royal Library?
Even following the walkthough a message that reads "There is no indication a copy of the book is available here, after all" is the only result I can get.

I wonder how much longer until its completed. Do saves usually work between version? I Just wanted to buy the game once.

That's actually my fault, sorry about that. Currently, the only library which hosts the book is Zanark, and not the royal library. I'll fix the walkthrough immediately.
It should be this year, I am trying to get everything wrapped up. Saves do work between versions, so make sure to copy them before you delete an older release.
Originally he was part of the plans, but I might have to cut him out, unfortunately. Development has gone on for way too long, and his path didn't really start yet, so it's easier to leave things that way. If patrons are ever interested in a "Caliross 1.1" he might be added at that point.
