What a weird ass game, and not in a good way. It's also grindy as hell, so if you're going to bother trying it don't be afraid to take advantage of the initial modifiers and just bump things like affection and XP gain up really high.
Anyway it seems like it's pure RNG in order to acquire more party members; I couldn't find more than 1 character after 30-40 minutes and gave up on it.
Its still a rule that the game needs to be playable if not fully translated but idk where's the cutoff of ''how much do I need to guess to progress for it to be considered unplayable'' myself.
Ten, the little bird samurai, I love him because i've beefed him up so much that he just wipes out most enemy parties before the first turn if i'm lucky, and he's only like level 58, so my game just auto plays itself. And when I get a strong enough enemy, I just stunlock them with Truss (the top right girl) and spam spells.
Most of the party members are found while exploring either in automatic or manual mode, some are hired, and the mouse lady just kinda appears? I've been trying to get with her but she refuses. I've even used the mouse aphrodisiac you get from fighting the training mouse pile in the Training Room, but she just eats my food like it's nothing and carries on.
I don't know if I need more aphrodisiac or what.
That's extremely strange, since last I checked this is an RPGMaker game. I assume you have a graphics card of some sort, so maybe its that you didn't download any of the RTPs? Otherwise, I'd try downloading the file again, maybe it got corrupted on the download.

Is anyone working on a better translation of this game? Seems to have a lot of content but the translation provided is... not that great (nor complete).
-10/10 another rage inducing shit with overly complicated gameplay for the sake of just being complicated. Enemies that one shot you, menus and names that even in japanese is hard to figure what the fuck they do and even the art is a little rought to say the least.
