Anyone know what the face on the top left of the screen when in battle do? I click on it and its just start winking at me but I don't see anything change.

They have to accept your gift. Choose the choice that is best to describe the character you are giving the gift to.
made it, still the motivation doest go up, either is bugged or too low, which is rare because ive been talking and giving gift to her since i recruited her

Did you bring her on every adventure bc character's mood also go down if they go on adventure too many time without break and its goes down even more if they get knockout during a battle.

yeah but also did the same with bat girl and she didnt get the neg mood, but i think is bugged also i dont get more than 2 fights per square in hard mode and doesnt matter the way i enter those

someone knows how to recover motivation of yourself and character, feeding and talking doesnt seem to do anything
a couple of scenarios that i can think of:

if you are talking about your character: he is the most difficult character to recover mood. for me it takes from 6 to 10 days or so (depending on how low is his mood.) to go from sad to happy and this by constantly doing every thing on my power to increase mood

If you are talking about Quichel she can't get high or low moods, that's not a bugg. i believe is part of her character quirks.(she being a "monotone" character and all that. AKA she can't feel sad nor happy.)

IF you are talking about any other character then they should, key word should, be happy in about 5 days if they are depressed. however their mood doesn't update until you do a screen transition. for example: if Grapus is "sad" and you full level Grapus mood in the hub and check the menu her mood will appears to be the same( depressed ) but the moment you go somewhere else (let's say the kitchen) when you open the menu again it will be properly updated.

otherwise it may be bugged.

maybe is because of that translation, that im also getting only 2 battles. I created a game before and battles where 2 or 4 depending on what i choose. Maybe is also due to the past of main character (i was hunter in the first save and now im citizen)

it may be, sometimes translation have issues
as for the fights that may not be. try to go on scavenger mod, pick a street tile and when it ask you to use a metod to break in select the one that give you the most encounters and the lowest amount of time.

i play the game in scavenge i dont use secure and i already said that doesnt matter the method i use to enter

then yes it is most likely bugged the biggest bugg that i ever had in this game was an iten of infinte uses that was not supossed to be so but then again i did not use the shared translation.

So uhh... apparently when you go into silphium defense by yourself, its trigger a entire new ending for the final battle

Well im trying to at least fix some of the translations. Someone that understand the story knows some of the meaning of terms on the game, Like for example a lot of characters description mentions "Value" does this reffer to something of the in-game world or is it talking as person/items/actions values?

From what i read from some of the characters story:
- Value seem to be a type of inner energy that everyone have like mana or mp because in demon frog/roots 5th event, he mention that he can use magic without using a catalyst (wand, staff,...) by converting his own value to cast magic but is limited by the amount of spell he could use without a catalyst , the mc also comenting on the fact that it's pretty rare for someone to be able to cast spell without a catalyst. It's also reflected in roots's gameplay when he alway have blind shot as a skill no matter which weapon you give him.
- Value can also be extracted from the colorless's blood as we see in poison fang/researcher 1st event when he boiling the blood of the colorless to use in his mutation serum. Idk about the other part like meat or bone but from the gameplay you also get paid from bringing them back from expedition but its much less than blood so maybe blood just have he best value out of the three. From this we know that value can be extracted from the colorless's body parts.
- Value can also indicate a person's memories like in chief/malm 3rd event she mention that the mc were killed and have their value stolen by the colorless one which result in the mc loss of memories and also how rare it is for the colorless to put a hit on someone, also in malm 1st sexual request scene she said that people who is alive have their value store in their blood and no where else so we can see the colorless as one big blood bag with everything from them produce value and why their blood worth more than their bone and meat. Also in dull price/coronis 4th event when she's pretending to not be able to remember her past, the mc immediately think that she also has her value stolen by someone else. Roots also implies to have his memories taken away and then wake up in the basement until we found him. From these events, we know that value can also indicate a person's memories, the more important the memories is the more value its have and these value can be stolen by the colorless or someone else working with the colorless with the capability to do so since it's doesn't exclipcitly stated that the colorless taking the value by themselves and the enemy we fought in the prologue also capable of speechs so that definitely not a colorless.
- NUM is value but in currency form and can be use for trading and stengthening oneself. Also in the guide board closest to the bed in the main hall, rust color/truss said something about the body is make of ■■■■ that why we could consume NUM to make ourselves stronger, idk why chief/malm censoring this but i think it's just the writer being lazy to write lore to explain game's mechanic. I think the disassemble table in the supply room have something to do with this too since it's the only other guide that was censor by chief/malm unless there's more and i just forgot about it. There's also an economy in the game and from the investment that clerk/colle show us there are 5 country that still exist. NUM can also be use as cooking's ingredients from the kitchen but i think it's just the mc using the NUM to buy the ingredients and then cook them rather than just straight up cook the NUM. From beautiful tongue's machine we know that normal cooking's ingredients still exist in this world.

So in conclusion we have:
- Value is a type of mana in this game and anyone want to convert its into spell need a catalyst to do so with some exception like roots's blind shot and coronis's healing magic
- Value can be extracted from the colorless's body parts.
- Value can also indicate a person's memories with the more important the memories is the more value it have, some individual has a way to stole these.
- NUM is value but it's strictly use to indicate a currency and not for anything else.
# I would appreciate if anyone can fill me in on what they know about value too since it's seem that the translation just does a bad job as alway because many japanese words with slightly different meaning translate to the same word in english result in confusion like these. Also sorry for the bad english, english is not my mother language.
