From what i read from some of the characters story:
- Value seem to be a type of inner energy that everyone have like mana or mp because in demon frog/roots 5th event, he mention that he can use magic without using a catalyst (wand, staff,...) by converting his own value to cast magic but is limited by the amount of spell he could use without a catalyst , the mc also comenting on the fact that it's pretty rare for someone to be able to cast spell without a catalyst. It's also reflected in roots's gameplay when he alway have blind shot as a skill no matter which weapon you give him.
- Value can also be extracted from the colorless's blood as we see in poison fang/researcher 1st event when he boiling the blood of the colorless to use in his mutation serum. Idk about the other part like meat or bone but from the gameplay you also get paid from bringing them back from expedition but its much less than blood so maybe blood just have he best value out of the three. From this we know that value can be extracted from the colorless's body parts.
- Value can also indicate a person's memories like in chief/malm 3rd event she mention that the mc were killed and have their value stolen by the colorless one which result in the mc loss of memories and also how rare it is for the colorless to put a hit on someone, also in malm 1st sexual request scene she said that people who is alive have their value store in their blood and no where else so we can see the colorless as one big blood bag with everything from them produce value and why their blood worth more than their bone and meat. Also in dull price/coronis 4th event when she's pretending to not be able to remember her past, the mc immediately think that she also has her value stolen by someone else. Roots also implies to have his memories taken away and then wake up in the basement until we found him. From these events, we know that value can also indicate a person's memories, the more important the memories is the more value its have and these value can be stolen by the colorless or someone else working with the colorless with the capability to do so since it's doesn't exclipcitly stated that the colorless taking the value by themselves and the enemy we fought in the prologue also capable of speechs so that definitely not a colorless.
- NUM is value but in currency form and can be use for trading and stengthening oneself. Also in the guide board closest to the bed in the main hall, rust color/truss said something about the body is make of ■■■■ that why we could consume NUM to make ourselves stronger, idk why chief/malm censoring this but i think it's just the writer being lazy to write lore to explain game's mechanic. I think the disassemble table in the supply room have something to do with this too since it's the only other guide that was censor by chief/malm unless there's more and i just forgot about it. There's also an economy in the game and from the investment that clerk/colle show us there are 5 country that still exist. NUM can also be use as cooking's ingredients from the kitchen but i think it's just the mc using the NUM to buy the ingredients and then cook them rather than just straight up cook the NUM. From beautiful tongue's machine we know that normal cooking's ingredients still exist in this world.

So in conclusion we have:

# I would appreciate if anyone can fill me in on what they know about value too since it's seem that the translation just does a bad job as alway because many japanese words with slightly different meaning translate to the same word in english result in confusion like these. Also sorry for the bad english, english is not my mother language.
Yeah that makes sense, when i read Demon bat description i think like the value was something like she didnt change even after years of torture, but when i read fuzzy description was like "value creator?".
Well i already translate all allies names and description and fixed directors first convo, i would translate eveything i can except for story (because i dont know japanese and unlike Shrift i dont understand the plot so idk what to fix, for example why does seem like black and white bat companions know u even if in my save they never where mention before). There are things i cannot translate because in rpgm are not translated and i dont gonna touch it since idk if it breaks something (like when u choose your name, in rpgm mv project this is not translated so idk where to search for the translation)

Translation fix update: Actors, items and weapons already fixed (i still need to re-fix the sulfur/sulfa country name into Sufura, since i didnt translate red and blue country from their original names). I still need to fix Armors, enemies and status
If someone knows how i can translate the skills, a little help will be appreciated, these are not translated on rpgm mv UI so i will not touch them.
I attach the files from the actual fix, Any Typo error or descriptions going off screens or any translation error u see, report back to me (in DMs so we dont feel this thread with reports), Any Error that crash games or needs programming skills i cant fix them sorry. Copy them in www/data.

Looted a couple tools and crafting level doesn't seem to go up. How do you use them?

I assume the bottom requirement is the tool level, which I still I have lvl 0 of

yeah, the translation by Yuki apparently have screwed the tools and crafting system up. I actually re-downloaded the game and moved my saves over and it came back to normal.

If you want the ability to craft, but still want the translation, you have to have two separate versions of the game and move the saves over to do so.

yeah, the translation by Yuki apparently have screwed the tools and crafting system up. I actually re-downloaded the game and moved my saves over and it came back to normal.

Yeah that was it. Also fiddled with it and fixed it on my end. Can now keep Yuki's patch and crafting now works.

what did you change to fix them? Also my translation was based on a translation that was already here, idk if it was me the one that bug things up since i only changed names that where already on english, i didnt touch anything that was on japanese

On lines 622-637 (basically the tools), there was a missing part which sets the actual tool level in crafting. Compared it with the original files and yours, and when I added it, it worked.

if that was in the notes of the item i didnt change them, so the translation that was on some pages ago did and break them. It probably break other things too... maybe i take my time fix the translation but copy it to the original callgate project in japanese and use those as the final translation as bugs-proof.

Yeah, the primal composite weapons seem to be the endgame goal to aim for... also did anyone figure out what the use is for those "reset the weapon/armor" items? I honestly can't figure them out. It seems to re-roll the + on the item it's applied to but it's not guaranteed to go up.

If anyone's looking for a translated version you can download on ryuugames (use brave browser to skip all the requirements to access the download), pretty much everything Is translated there, even the story, interactions, items and everything else. Only a few things aren't translated but aren't needed.
There is a translation already here and the base game is translated, what im doing is a manual translation, trying to maintain the sense of the things and also fix some things that are broken in the process. I would translate the story but neither i understand the plot (since i cant read japanese) and neither i can translate some things that are scripts (like when u choose your name or skills).

Also your link is the same as in the OP is the main game with really bad MTL translation, continuity errors, typos and things getting out of window, from a page that is not even close to being safe as here.

i already downloaded the link, yeah is the same as here, bad mtl translation with a lot of errors like i said.

I think you were talking about the v1.11.1 version because the game was updated to 2.0.8.7 at around the same time when ryuugames updated it and you just missed the update on f95

Yeah most likely, didn't check if f95 updated as well when I downloaded It so thought they didn't

Translation update: Enemies, states, armors translated, i fixed the notes on them also and in some items (yeah the tools werent the only thing that was affected).
Well like i said skills looks like this (see picture) if someone knows how to translate them or where is the translation the game shows i can fix them, but for now im not gonna touch anything in order to not break scripts.
Also i maybe take my time and use translator++ for translating story, but since idk if this gonna break the game dont have much fate in me coming back with this.
OH i also forget to clarify: things that you already have like chicken weapons wont get updated with the translation, u have to get new ones.

Well... talking about the translator ++ i can translate things without breaking anything it seems (since actually translator ++ helps separating scripts from normal texts) but there is a problem, I cant check if there is "text overflow" in the app, trying to search everything in RPGM UI is a nightmare and also using the game to check this is another, i know translator ++ has a "Word Wrap by Tag" function on export and there is other options, but first i need to understand how to use them and second u need to check in-game what texts get this problem, and knowing how big this game is, Im TAKING TOO LONG. So unless i find a easy way to do it, or someone helps me, i think i will try to see if i can translate skills and thats all.
The problem is not only see if the text has a picture before but also that in some cases (like the adventurer cigarettes quest) it calls for an item and it doesnt show how long the name of that item is, so in the same example cigarettes got cut out of window.

TLDR;Glad that the developer seems to be having a reliable update schedule now, but that's just gonna make keeping up better translations mtl or otherwise more difficult until they put out a finalized version as the upkeep seems tiring. Only really did what I could to be able to play the story, see some of the characters and whatnot. Was able to see all the scenes at the time with the one edit someone else made too to the files which throws you into the memory room at the start of the game with all scenes unlocked and just cheated in myself op stats plus the max amount of items to get into the game for the time I was hyper fixated on it while on a semester break lol. Manually replacing and filling in the couple hundred of lines I did myself for a better experience the first time around was a shlog for how little I did so I left it alone so maybe you can keep at it, but at least my effort then made the game a bit more accessible for others even if it was just throwing it into a translator lol. Glad the game is gaining more attraction plus attention now at least.
Finally finished school, but still padding out my resume/transcript with sophia course plus prepping for certs/licenses along with that my current fixation is Starsector modding in making phase versions of ships, having access plus making sprites to system locked weapons, bringing down and up version specific content other than just the ships+weapons without their unique effects being swapped by trying to understand what the fuck I'm doing with Java/C++ through EclipseIDEforJavaDevs as well as playing Miscrits again since I saw that's popped up on Steam recently so won't really be dedicating much more time to this game as the Dev has seemed to learn to do the bare minimum too by just uploading better mtl versions of it. Can't wait till callgate gets even more sharpened up to revisit it later on down the line with all the new content plus features.
