Only the biggest games on F95 are allowed to have one update per 8-12 months and people still care.

And this one just started. No wonder there are only 8 pages of comments after 8 months. If this was a real life business it would be already dead.

I was thinking just this only big AVN like BaDIK, Intertwined, Eternum and a few other big AVN have the luxury to put out yearly updates since they already have an establish loyal fanbase but for a new dev that has just started it doesn't paint a good picture and most likely won't grab much attention since most people will play and forget about it and loose interest because of the long dev cycles.

It truly is a shame because I really like the curvy/thicc body proportions for the models in this game but I am not putting too much faith in it from the sounds of the last dev update it ain't sounding too promising maybe we will get an update by the end of the year if we are lucky so yea...

Last update to the Patreon was August. Dev claims that chapter 2 is completely written, so we'll see

Dev got super ambitious for Chapter 2 when it should be a smaller release. Last post said Chapter 3 onward should be smaller updates, so ideally there's less of a gap, but who the hell knows as this is a relatively new project...

stop complaining ,is for free ..."if" gets abandoned [hope not] is ok if not much better but ppl think that solo devs that dont come with a update every 2 3months are bad or they arecursed to fail...think a little before making any assumptions ,,,...probably this guy have to work outside this to keep it alive like many others so,a little bit of consideration before talking/.....

Hello everyone,
It's been a while and I just wanted to give an update on the development of Chapter 2 of Campus Lyfe. It's been a year of development so I just want to let everyone know what's going on.
It's painfully obvious that Chapter 2 has had an over-extended development cycle and this is due to a number of reasons:

1. I do not do this full-time. This is not my primary source of income thus I split my time between other obligations and working on this. One of my other obligations being, assisting in the development of another Adult Game. The Adult Game in this case being Symphony of the Serpent by NLT Media where I am the Set Designer on the team.
2. I was overly ambitious with this update and should've broken it up into smaller pieces. It's too late for that now. Chapter 2 is about two to three times bigger than Chapter 1 with even more animations and because I am part-time with one PC, it has led to the long wait you guys are currently experiencing. By the time Chapter 2 releases, Campus Lyfe will have well over an hour of playtime at the very least.
3. I had to revise certain aspects of the story and rewrite certain things. Due, to the AVN and Adult game community coming under scrutiny by several large corporations and interest groups, I have had to alter certain parts of the story to make it very clear that they are in line with the guidelines set by said corporations. Unfortunately, this is beyond my control. The core story remains unchanged but certain elements, plot points and kinks had to be revised.

This will be the longest you guys will have to wait between updates as after Chapter 2 releases, the subsequent updates will be much smaller. 3000 renders is insane on top of more animations and I'm never putting out an update this big again. This means future Chapters will be broken up into multiple updates but those updates will come more frequently.
The comics will still be worked on but after Havenwood Diaries Chapter 3, I probably won't release another until Campus Lyfe Chapter 2 is out which is looking like it'll be a January release. The wallpaper pack is also coming too but at this point it'd be an End of Year bundle for each month.
In conclusion, I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm not dead and I haven't abandoned anything. I just bit off more than I could chew and life happened.
