I mean those are great, I don't mind them at all. They add a lot of mood and atmosphere to the scenes. But you're not there to see the hypno vids (at least I'm not). You're there to see the characters develop. That's why you're playing a game and not just watching porn.Grindy is doing the same thing over and over without a reward, here you get 150 different hypno videos edited in various programs.
To be more specific, the parts that really annoyed me were for example when you're corrupting Miranda's sister (and later, mother) and you replay the same scene like 30 times, incrementally adding something new to the end every time. Like, okay, I'll show you the dildos. Now we touch the dildos. Now I lick the dildo. Now you lick the dildo. And so forth. I wouldn't even mind it if I could skip to that part faster. But now there's like 12 tasks to do inbetween every Miranda's sister/mother scene, which just adds tedium. Worse, if I'm doing that once a week (like that part when you're doing nothing new but visiting the therapist once a week) that's even MORE tedium added inbetween the actual progress.
It wouldn't be so bad if you knew what you had to do to progress, but that's not overly obvious all of the time, so you're sort of forced to recheck some scenes now and again to make sure you're not missing something. A "quest journal" would help immensely with the gameplay, I believe.
Also there's something to be said for automating parts that are repetitive. Like after the first 20 or so times you wake up, take a shower and apply make-up, I really don't need to see those scenes again. Just show me something if there's something new. Otherwise move on to the actual new stuff. Why are we, after the first few days, still even bothering with buying makeup? It doesn't add anything to the gameplay once you're past the point of being broke.
It gets a bit grindy and repetitive is all I'm saying. Your choice as the dev though. Just giving my opinion and advice on how to craft a more rewarding gaming experience. Take it or leave it.
