probably too early but honestly wouldn't mind a guide for this. hopefully they create one at some point
Each time it is different? I mean someone could make an app that lets you solve it but it's just addition and subtraction.Anyone have the solution to the Alchemy puzzle?
I find it 0 fun and just end up quitting in frustration.
Do you mean the Cantor (black dude) ? Because there already is MC/Prior content. Are there going to be any hot scenes with the Prior and the MC or just the other young monks?
I also really wondered if I should share any info with the Prior or not -- I didn't.
Alchemy is my personal favourite! I hate the writing oneAnyone have the solution to the Alchemy puzzle?

Thanks, I haven't seen it yet, but I'm still playing Ch. 2.Do you mean the Cantor (black dude) ? Because there already is MC/Prior content.
No, that shouldn't affect anything. As far as I can remember, all you need to get the scene with the Cantor is to see him getting a bj on day 1, then tell him you saw it and tell him you didn't mind what you saw. Thanks, I haven't seen it yet, but I'm still playing Ch. 2.
Or maybe I messed up by not reporting the intruder to him?
Thank you. I did witness that! No, that shouldn't affect anything. As far as I can remember, all you need to get the scene with the Cantor is to see him getting a bj on day 1, then tell him you saw it and tell him you didn't mind what you saw.
My strategy is to pick two symbols and use 2 of them each for the first try: so like XXYY. This seems to be a good starting point. Linguistics is my favourite mini game, alchemy is the hardest and the chanting one is the most boring to me, though it's hella easy.Except the linguistics minigame, that's trash. Or I'm trash for being bad at it.
It's easy.Anyone have the solution to the Alchemy puzzle?

This game is AMAZING. Let me know if comes to Subscribestar. I had a Patreon account, and they could never bill me without problems, every single month, for years and years.Hi guys. I'm the developer of this game.
that's my strategy too. It's basically a simplified Wordle (or a short version of the old Mastermind game). I have more or less the same ranking: I like linguistics the most and chanting the least. Alchemy needs a bit of trial-and-error but it's not that bad; archanometry is a bit boring and (for now) rather easy, but it's more inventive than chanting. I like the insert-the-right-word game too.My strategy is to pick two symbols and use 2 of them each for the first try: so like XXYY. This seems to be a good starting point. Sorry to hear you are demoralised. I love the game and I am supporting on Patreon now too. I think this place is just a great place to advertise the game and draw in many more people who will play the game than otherwise and good place to engage with fans of the game. But totally understand your reservations - though, I might be wrong but hasn't the free version that you posted on Itch.io been the only thing uploaded here as of yet? Regardless, very much looking forward to seeing how this one develops and I am happy to support it.Hi guys. I'm the developer of this game.
So listen, ngl, I was pretty demoralized and demotivated seeing this pop up here. So, I come to you with a deal of sorts.
I don't really have an issue with piracy in general, but I think there's a spectrum.
On one end, you can pirate Ubisoft or EA stuff, and basically scrape a few bucks off of the millions that will be going to their top execs in bonuses (millions they shouldn't be getting anyways because they're useless), while leaving dev salaries unharmed. I think this is by and large a victimless crime.
On the other end of the spectrum, you have solo devs like me. So let me tell you a bit about myself. Including the earnings I get from my Patreon, I make less than 50k a year living in Tokyo. A few months ago, before the game came out, I was paycheck-to-paycheck. I work a full-time, corporate, soul-sucking job for a Japanese company that I finish around 7PM every night. After that, I work on the game until 1-2 AM. Rinse and repeat. I'm desperately trying to get out of this job and focus on these creative pursuits. The dream is to make a successful game hopefully, and one day (in my wildest dreams) to be able to hire an artist to work alongside, increase the quality of the music and sound, maybe even invest in some voice acting. I work on this game every single weekend and I post about an hour of play time every single month without exception.
All that said, I want to suggest a compromise here. I will upload the game files on to this thread myself in the future. I will post the most recent update of the game one month after it is published to all my patrons. In exchange, please don't post any more game files without my permission. I think this is fair and reasonable, will hopefully still protect what there is of my Patreon income, and let you play the game at the same pace as my patrons, if a little later.
How does that sound?
And finally, if you like the game,You must be registered to see the links. It's 2 dollars for the lowest tier and you get an update every month. You can unsubscribe immediately after subscribing and still leave what is in essence a tip. It takes me usually 4 months per entire chapter, so if you don't want to be subscribed longterm, you do this every 4 months from now to release (with a planned 8 chapters), you can literally own the full game for 10 dollars. Maybe I'm being delusional, but I feel like the game is worth it. And if you are able to support with more, for higher tiers, I post nerdy lore posts with extracts from different lore books in the world. I drew and posted a map of the kingdom there as well, etc. And if you're having a hard time financially as well, there are other ways you can show your support. You canYou must be registered to see the links. The engagement there means the game gets more popular and more people discover it. Tell your friends, post about it in your other Discords, etc. That can be worth as much as the 2 bucks sometimes.
Since 0.3.1 is posted here already (I think you mislabeled the version number, by the way), I plan on posting 0.3.2 a month after it comes out for all my patrons, so January 31st. I'm hoping this arrangement is accepted and can hold until then.
Have a blessed weekend, Brothers and Sisters and Siblings, and remember to go worship Saheila at least a little bit before it's done.
