Unreal Engine Captain Hardcore [v0.17] [AntiZero]

Nothing is working ((
I downloaded Captain Hardcore [v0.17] [AntiZero] from the main page, unzipped it.
I downloaded CH_ResponseModifier.7z and copied its contents into the folder Captain Hardcore 0.17 where Captain Hardcore.exe is located.

I run Start_CH.bat 2 windows open, in Response Modifier I press "START" and then press any key in the command line window (it closes and the game starts).

In the game I come to the activation window, I click insert, it says CHPatreonKey. I click activation and get an error.
"Access Denied: Wrong number of segments (200)"

What am I doing wrong, why the error?

Like, I save a preset and can't find it later, scenes seem to be fine though, weird

so you cannot even play this unless you are on the patron site? at least that's what the game seems to be telling me

Recently it worked fine, but today after clicking “Activate” in the game, it goes into endless loading. No errors appear, just eternal loading. I checked on other versions of the game, and everything is the same.
