yeah, i was starting to worry about that too so i started thinking about splitting the game into parts

Ah yes, at the beginning a lot of characters appear that for those who haven't played they end up being strange, but in the course of the story everything will get easier, everyone who will appear will be introduced properly and this will also help to understand most of those who appeared at first
Is it safe to delete older versions from my computer? I don't want to lose my saved progress in newer updates.
It is like 15 characters that I have seen before, so yeah it was a bit strange. Since it also involved time travel, hopefully it is not too hard to keep straight when the MC meets the girls in the beginning in the past.
Yes, it should be safe. Renpy saves copies of your saves to Appdata->Roaming->Renpy. So if you keep that folder, you should be able to delete the main game and keep your saved progress.

I hope you figure out a way to compress the game without needing to split into parts, cuz that can get very bothersome for some.
I've heard some are using Webm for image files instead of png/jpeg now, which seems to reduce file size.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
yeah, webp format will reduce the size. The dev should probably do that and compress the images (I believe you can compress up to a certain point without losing detail). Could probably get it to under 1 GB is my guess.

yes the save is stored elsewhere, whenever you download an updated version you can delete the previous one

I'll see this better once I finish the 1.4 update, but I expressed myself badly, it was more like dividing it into chapters than parts, each chapter could go up to 5GB for example but I'll see that after I finish 1.4

On the other hand, it's a pity, there are very few good hentai animations for Hankai (I would say very few).

i would say make the censorship optional so people would have the choise whether they want it censored or not on the H scenes

I personally don't see any reason why that first scene is censored in the first place. Unless you live in japan and thats where you originally published it, law about pornography/hentai that are not censored are considered criminal offense. Adding it now is just annoying more than anything. Bu thats just me being againts any type of censorship, and ironically coming from a porn game

I saw your message at the end and I hope you taking care of yourself even if this game are still in development. Censoring the H-scene in my opinion is fine unless your in Japan then I can understand that, if not, it up to you if you want your h-scene censored or not (i recommend uncensored for the audience). But you did a really amazing job building up story and characters and I hope i see more in the future.
