So, I joined his Discord. Basically, thankfully he’s alive. However, even there he hasn’t given or is giving any updates. But one of his moderators reassured everyone that he’s alive, doing fine, and working hard on the update. I know waiting sucks, but we’re really not in a position to complain. The game only costs 5 dollars, and it’s free just a week later.
Basically, the moderator said the dev doesn’t want to give updates to avoid creating false hopes again, but reassured that he is working to release the update as soon as possible.

When it’s ready, he’ll release it. Could be today, tomorrow, or a month from now… who knows.

That's the developer's problem, though; if they can't fulfil their customers' interests, then why should the customer keep paying? And to be frank, most indie smut developers start out working for free on a game, alongside a job, because they have to hope those interested will pay them monthly once attraction has accumulated.
I'm all for supporting developers, but if those who complain that they are still paying and waiting without an update could use their brains for the first time and not pay. Mind-blowing to be honest. Imagine complaining about something you can postpone until an update comes out, and then proceeding to support them again.

Well they've done their best so far. And happen to encounter unexpected game breaking bug. Until that is fixed and made sure it's gone. All we can do is wait.

That's the conundrum though, if we all just stopped paying for the game it will get abandoned, and the problem is not the money, its the fact that another great game goes down the toilet and this is especially bad in vore based game, seeing as how there is not very many good quality ones. People keep paying even when a update is not given because they are loyal to the game dev and want to see the game prosper and get completed. There is something you clearly don't understand, if everyone subscribed to this dev did what you said the game would already be abandoned and there would have never been another update, there has to be loyal one's that stay or the game will never work out, those are the people that are as you say "complaining". And along with that for those who it applies to, it is not just 5$ bucks, I've heard some people say this before, the dev is making like around $2500 dollars a month estimate, counting the taxes and the platforms they posts on cut, like Patreon, subscribestar, etc, that's basically a part time job and if there is one i missed then they are probably making more. Regardless though, the people work for the money that the dev get's and whether the developer likes it or not, we deserve to know what is going on, and to be updated. Its fine if a promise can't be kept and there is some kind of delay for a update or whatever, nobody will mind as long as we are notified and if they do mind, screw them. But also it's not just about the game we also like to make sure the dev is doing well, i wish more dev's tried to ask their community for help more often, they would be surprised the help they would get but most of them try to lone wolf things, so staying when it's tough is the best option for a game to survive until it official gets abandoned.

I'm just baffled at how silent the dev has been. Like, is it seriously so hard to just go on Discord, and type "Bug's not letting up, still working on it" like once a week? Or post a screenshot of something not in the game yet to prove work has been done?

The patience of doom sayers is rather hilarious for a game that you're not even paying for. Just wait and stop bitching and moaning that it's not coming out. It's not even the weekend when they usually post. Wait till Monday, and then if there's no update, go cry somewhere else. I have an issue with people asking the same repeated question or saying "game's dead gg" Then complain they still pay for it?

I agree with that last statement.
My issue is with those not paying or paying and just complaining that there's no update. The Dev gave an estimated date of release, and then an issue arose, and they wish they had never said anything about a release date as it bit them in the ass.
There are a few here who have a modicum of patience for those worke their ass off to make awesome games like this on their own mind you. Sure it would be cool if they ask for help, but they might have reasons for that. Unable to pay or maybe they just want to make it themselves.

if you have for instance s2 installed it wont show s1 renders same for the side story's
