Try copying the game folder to a short path, such as C:\Carnal_Instinct_v0.6.9 or D:\Carnal_Instinct_v0.6.9, and try running the game. This worked for me.

No they added a town with people in it, couple more quests. Fixed a bunch of broken quests. I just happened on a quest off in the desert called crossroads that isn't done.

Follow the quest line you have at the beginning, don't wander off yet. You'll head to the big round building you wind up near, the inn. Talk to the hostess about removing the mask. Do that quest, look for the blacksmith. No luck, head to the shrine, kill the boss. Then you can have a body.
Save exp for a full form. In the Demi forms you can't wear armor by some retarded reasoning.

UE4 build, Naga-slave and dragon.Not really vore as a fetish, more like just simply death-being eaten ..if you choose the wrong option.
In the UE4 version (abandoned) there was a scene where you failed to have sex with a huge snake (Naga), then got strangled, and presumably devoured afterwards (while the screen faded to black).
In the UE5 version there is nothing of that kind. However, certain visuals from the newest/planned updates seem like a hint there may be such content in the future (dragons are fed slaves, I guess).
What is Kethra's gift? I keep finding these randomly in the world, no idea what they do when I claim them.
I saved my game file but when I returned to the game all my saved files were gone?(I experienced this after the game update)

where is that? didn't bother with this game for couple of years and didn't read older changelogs
Sorry, I can't be more specific, I haven't actually played the game in quite a while.
On the main island, there is an area where you can touch a small obelisk and it allows you to set your spells and change your character's appearance.
The various appearances that you can use are unlocked with special points and those Kethra's Gift monuments grant you a big chunk of those points when you activate them.
