"It was in the ruin of the fighting pits we finally caught up with them, disturbing their carnal ritual above the hidden Tomb of Sobeq. We slew the warriors first, the only ones capable of presenting any real resistance. All there met the same fate in the end, they knew too much to let them live. We will prevent her return, no matter the cost."
Journal of Sitah, Inquisitor of Bast
Hi all,
Now that the
True Canine and
True Feline genitals (the winning options in last-month's poll) have been implemented in-game, it's time for another Ascended Tier+ exclusive poll. We're moving towards splitting bodies/clothing in the inventory so that you can combine clothing with different forms (i.e. Felian, Draconid, Human, etc) and, with the new freedom this affords, it's time for you to decide what clothing set you'd like to see first.
All of these sets will tie into one of the core quest arcs, the ancient war between Kethra and Bast, and we wanted to give you the chance to add cosmetics to the game based on this storyline. Check out #news on Discord to see the images we're using as inspiration for the equipment.
This poll runs for seven days (ends 20th March 2021 @ 11:59 PM GMT/UTC)

|| MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD ||
There are no major plot spoilers here, but if you prefer to discover all lore in-game then we recommend you skip the latter portion of this post and rely on Discord for the reference images. For those who are interested, below is a short flavour of the equipment in the poll...
1. Inquisition Garb
The lightly armoured outfit of the most devoted of Bast's followers, The Inquisitors. As both sword and shield of the feline goddess, these zealots will stop at nothing to rid Sabu of the influence of Kethra. Each Inquisition Garb is handed down, from one Inquisitor to the next, an unbroken line back to the time when they were blessed by Bast herself. No self-respecting Inquisitor would surrender the outfit willingly, or without a fight. It may not appear much, but the ancient magic bound within the cloth grants a deceptively strong level of protection to its wearer.
2. Gladiator Armour
In the golden age of Kethra the fighting pits were a sight to behold, day and night the clash of blades and screams of agony rang out amidst the raucous jeering of the masses. Today these mighty structures are a hollow shell of their former selves, forgotten ruins swallowed by the dunes, the equipment within long since scavenged by bandits and raiders, a far cry from the glorious heyday of the arena. The toughened leather, sewn pelts, and cast bronze armour can still be bartered for however, or simply taken from the bloodied corpse of its previous owner.
3. Merchant's Silks
The trade in rare goods and flesh can pay handsomely in Sabu. Whilst the Anubites may demand constant bribes, there's still a hefty profit to be made for those with flexible morals. The slave traders at the city outskirts are no exception to this rule, flaunting their wealth and unscrupulous character in the silk and spun-gold attire with which they adorn themselves. Whispers suggest that perhaps not every slave for sale was obtained legitimately, but the Merchant's guild used its power to quash this unsavoury rumour... not least because half its members are implicated in the scandal. The garments themselves may be light on conscience, but they're decidedly heavy on rich fabrics and jewelled ornamentation.
4. Acolytes Holy Garments
The line between mortal and immortal is somewhat blurred in Sabu, nonetheless those beings on the path to Ascension require servants to do their bidding, which is where Acolytes come in. Desperate to attain the favour of their Patron, and invoking the golden rule of Kethra in their clothing, Acolytes can be found in all corners of the unforgiving, desert province. The holy garments of an Acolyte often feature embroidered sigils of their master deity or, in extremely rare and valuable examples, the actual shed scales or woven fur from the ancient being's corporeal form.
5. Hand of Fate
The unseen touch of providence guides many events in Sabu and there are no coincidences in the forsaken land of the God Queen. Events far beyond comprehension are already at play, surrendering yourself to fate may be no bad thing.
