A dev log update was posted mid-last month on the Subscribe Star page.

I don't believe the dev has abonandoned the game but the lack of new content since last year does kinda suck.

I’m stuck in this room. I brought back the yellow generator, I took the match box but I can’t figure out how to move the plant that blocks the vent. I tried to burn the plant with the match box, I interacted with all the bodies hummain and iren to do... Can you tell me how to do it please?

Not sure when last time Mr.Heisenbergo, was logged into f95zone. (Not seeing a last seen on his icon / profile)

Updates delayed before. Reasons: Error, bad or missing variables, missing or incorrect switch. Old or slow computer. (Computer was upgraded or replaced) Family or personal reasons. (vacation mode)

Kitashi_7 seems to be the best source for information. (subscribestar access / discord[?] access) Thanks Kitashi_7, for giving us information and updates.

So far, delay looks like another issue came up. Might be power or internet issues this time, if its not an above posted reason for past delay.

For the record, No the dev has not abandoned the game, i know he makes promises but he also lives in central/south america and has been running into several problems in the past be it internet or hardware related, he has shown us progress in the last subscribestar update I can only hope he is able to give us the update soon and was just running some technical problems due to a bug or something along those lines.

Normally I dont really comment much, but yeah, if you like this game you must also know that even tho the dev cooks good, hes very, very inconsistent. Sometimes taking a few weeks with no notice. Personally I dont mind, been following this since last year and know what to expect. If you are new i dont even blame you for thinking he abandoned the game.

In any way im just waiting. At this point I dont even mind it. (Not like im paying tho, those people do deserve to be quite mad.)

Man... this dev will disappear for a loooooong time, then in about 3-5 months he will appear with concrete news about the game... in another month, he will release an update with one or two little things and then disappear for another year. Maybe he'll even split the update into 3 parts...

That's it. After more than a year and a half of development, we have a game that's not even 10% complete. I talked about the future of this a few months ago. It's always going to be like this: Promises > dates > making excuses > delays > more excuses > shitty update every 8-10 months. If you notice, absolutely EVERY update had delays and excuses... Shitty devs these days.

And yes, I was a contributor to this dev on subscribestar
