After fighting with the last scene to get it into the gallery the update release cycle has finally begun

Mr. Heisenbergo not only OWES me the update, he OWES me a detailed explanation listing his many failings as a developer being unable to keep his promises. In fact, I'd say he even OWES me a few commissioned art pieces as an apology for not delivering the update. I expect these things to be done ASAP and if I don't have them by next week I will once again return to complain and ask for more.

I am quite tired reading pages on pages of the whining and complaining of entitled people claiming the DEV ows them. If you are unhappy with the service, just cancel the sub.

Think about it this way. You subbed to Netflix, watched a season of a show and really liked it. You got something for your money. Then they take forever to do season 2, you stayed subbed because you liked S1. Even if season 2 is shit or never comes, you still got your money worth of S1. Yes it hurts if something happens to something you care about, buts that's life buddy. If you want to punish them just cut the money.

Grow up, people break promises in businesses all the time and Heisenbergo is releasing for free. I also think this game is going to be abandoned at some point or another with dev delaying stuff all the time but I was raised to not get bossy or pushy with people doing stuff out of passion.

Someone does something for free with a certain time cadence and suddenly people show up as if they're owed rent money. I mentioned 2 games worth shitting on, go those thread and see how people simping for literal years still not complaining, they have the right to do so but still don't (because they are simps).

Tbh I'll admit, I was a bit harsh in my last few replies but even so, I don't think I'm asking for too much to see a progress report on a monthly basis or maybe some fan engagement like polls or voting on scene ideas or whatever have you. I just don't think it's a good idea to enable him not doing anything at all and allow him to get away with making excuses all the time. I know we all have our problems and all have our struggles, but you can only play that card so many times before any rational person says something about it. There were a few months where he almost didn't address the game at all until people started legitimately unsubbing from him
If he's slacking off deliberately, I take back nothing but if he isn't, I really think he should be more open and honest like I said in a previous post and be like
"Look, this game is a lot of work for me but I love what I've done and I want to keep putting out more content for you all but as things stand, I can only do two big updates a year/six months apart, but between then, I'll show progress reports on a monthly basis and have community/discord events"
And I would consider that well-worth a subscription and I think many people would too and the game would thrive surely

Completely disagree. In fact, Dr. Pfizenbergo needs to produce the update IMMEDIATELY or I will be writing a strongly worded letter to the Better Business Bureau explaining in GREAT DETAIL his poor business practices.

The update release cycle started a few days ago, the fact he's paused payments when he could've absolutely just kept milking us for money says more to his integrity than many other devs on the site. $10 tier has a 2 week release advantage and he's started working on the next update as we're speaking. I *chose* to donate, I *chose* to wait it out, if you dont think waiting around it worth it then dont donate, its entirely optional

Tbh if he did keep payments up and kept everything the same, no previews and false promises on delays, people would've unsubbed in droves. It was a tactical move to suspend payments because while he wouldn't get paid for a bit, he could promote some degree of good will and people wouldn't leave for the most part. Not necessarily a charitable act. I still don't believe the update will come out any time soon but if I'm proved wrong, I would be happy like I said earlier
