Go to city hall. The mayor wants your support to tear down a school. That opens the school for visitors and introduces the teacher, new quest....

How the heck are you supposed to start out in this game if trying to play legitimately? You start with $0 and 10 men which cost $10000/week, but the only way I could find to earn money in the beginning seems to be skipping days, which at most gets you $7000/week...so you just immediately go into debt you can never get out of. What am I missing?

Not sure why but I dont see anything new with this update, i know someone said to go to city hall and talk to the mayor but when i do, it only shows pay to lose attention option. nothing else. and so far i did everything but that as far as im aware

did you open the menu where it gives missions? you have to do that for it to pop up

No save worth posting. I just started a new game, got through the intro, and it dumps you into "sandbox" mode with $0, 10 men, nothing in journal. I visited the girls, visited the mayor. I tried taking over buildings in the other city and couldn't win any of those battles. The only way I see to make money is skip a day, which at most you can get $7000 / week (and only if you do nothing else during the week) and then the men take $10000.

Nevermind, figured it out. You have to use the clipboard to "Sell Weed", but then you go back in there after a day to collect it. I expected it to automatically resolve.
