Sometimes I wish they just made a straight up VN so that they didn't have to put up with so much whining.
yeah I've had sometime to think about it and while my original point while laden with fury are valid. I just don't get greg needs to be in Tara's path at all. If it's not developed yet then let it be that. Also my greivence with Tara is that she's pretty one dementional. We as an audiance need to be shown what's special about these characters and who the grow intoWhoa, Just Take It Easy Man! I understand you perfectly, but the explanation for this is that the alternative paths still need to be developed, it is contemplated that Casey will leave with Tara but it is not yet ready, as well as a path with Cassandra that is in development.
I did pay attention, however because we as the audiance only have what we are presented with it doesn't read like that at all. While true they share a class with one another that's not the same as knowing each other. It comes off as some random guy who has a white knight complex. Like why is Greg so concerned with Casey being naked and with Tara? If that was explain it would seem more natural as to why she would go with him. Just like the old adage "show, don't tell".Jeez Louise. Maybe pay a bit more attention to the details. Casey and Greg share a class, so they do know each other. Greg also knows Tara. When he sees them go past on Tara's bike with Casey naked, Greg is suspicious and decides to follow. That places him at the supermarket. When he sees Cassandra confront Casey, and Casey clearly looks uncomfortable, he decides to step in. While Casey explains that she is there of her own volition, he still has concerns for her safety so he offers her a ride home in his car. Despite Casey telling him that she is there of her own volition, she isn't comfortable at all. She's naked in public against her will FFS, so a car ride sounds pretty tempting, even not knowing him very well. She doesn't know Tara well either, and car is better than bike when you're nude. And as we've seen in other paths, Casey and Greg instantly like each other and end up in bed fairly easily. Plus in this case she's intensely aroused from being naked in public all morning, and he is likewise aroused from having a naked girl in his car for the last hour or so.
With all that being said, Casey still faces a choice to accept that ride with him, and we will come back to that choice at a later date to find out what happens if she decides to stick with Tara and not go home with Greg.
If you don't understand anything, check outYou must be registered to see the linksfor more details and background info. Also keep in mind that this game is about ENF (embarrassed nude female), OON (only one naked), CMNF (clothed male nude female), CFNF (clothed female nude female) and CNC (Consensual Non-consent) rather than lesbian or straight sex as such, even though those are featured.
Likewise, the reason Casey accepts a ride home with him is explained in her thought process:"WTF?! Say, isn't that the cute little redhead from my Citizen's Education class? I know she can't be a registered nudist, and what is she doing with that bitch Tara? Something's wacky here… I'm gonna follow and see what's going on. It might all be cool but I don't trust Tara. Who the hell would ride a bike totally naked anyway? Something doesn't seem right here."
"Hmm... Tara did do me a favour so it would be kind of nasty if I backed out on her now... Plus I don't really know Greg so it's going to be weird being in his car naked. What will we even talk about? On the other hand, I don't want to get back on that bike again. Tara might try to make a move on me as well and I'm not sure I'm ready for that... But Greg does seem nice and the car is safer, and I'd be out of view. Yes, I think I'll accept Greg's offer."
Yeah, I'm in the wrong here. I shouldn't be forcing my viewpoints on your story.I've played it multiple times from the POV of an outsider, and I completely disagree. The characters all react and behave the same as we see of them elsewhere. If you put yourself in each of their shoes, you'll see there's nothing unusual about any of their behaviours. I think you just wanted the story to go a certain way and you're disappointed that it didn't. While we do intend to come back and add in the path if Casey doesn't accept the lift with Greg (trying to develop too many paths at once was killing our progress), sometimes the best solution is to just write your own story. That's largely why I wrote Casey's Fall. I was inspired by another story which had numerous issues that I thought could have been better, plus it was unfinished. I was originally going to finish it for the author but then I decided it would be better if I just started over with a new story and included some of the ideas I liked.
The Game version is a little like Groundhog Day. Each decision takes the story off on a different tangent, but the characters still stay true to their natures, and where they are and at what times remains consistent. eg If you play the main path with Greg at the Supermarket, you'll notice Tara in the background. She overheard Casey discussing the weekend missions with Amelia and decided to follow the next day. That will have repercussions later, as will the current option in the main path with Tara if Casey goes home with Greg. Both leave Tara with ammunition and motivation to torment or blackmail Casey, but what she does and how she uses that ammunition varies depending on what happened to get her there.
The other path where Tara takes her to the supermarket, Greg ends up following. In one option, it almost comes full circle and she ends up with Greg anyway. Call it fate or destiny if you like. In the other option that we'll come back to later, she won't end up with him. In other paths she might end up breaking up with him or never meeting him at all, or she might end up in a completely different relationship with him, all depending on the decisions she makes along the way and how that changes her fate.
As to what motivates Greg to follow, that's all explained in his thought process when he sees the girls go by on the bike.

Thanks! There will be another release soon with the remainder of Day 7 in the main path. After that, there's a fair bit of work to go on it to add all the epilogues to finish off the various paths so you can see how it all ends. Once we've finished that, we don't have plans to come back to develop it further, but never say never. What's going in with AI art has some very exciting possibilities for game development. I'd like to look deeper into text to video animation one day to see what I can do. That's probably a couple of years away though.Hopefuilly they pick this project up again and give it a proper finish. Its so disappointing to have it only halfway done
Thank you very much for the news! I wasn't sure if day 7 would have a close with the same detail as the rest of the production so far. I'm looking forward to it. When this is released I will honor my commitment and really dive into Casey's famous misadventures. There will be another release soon with the remainder of Day 7 in the main path.
The story this is based on is available in its complete form online, last I checked; it is merely the VN adaptation that is winding down, I believe.Oh, this is sad news. I did think the art that was attached to the story was pretty good. And, I liked that the story had been adapted to the vn. It's a pity that it almost seems like it's only just begun. And now it's at an end.
I think this was a favorite of mine. And it really is sad to see that it's finished. Good luck for your future endeavours.
Correct. We haven't seen the last of Casey in the novels I'm writing. There's one in progress at the moment, albeit slowly since I'm splitting time between the two projects at the moment. The story this is based on is available in its complete form online, last I checked; it is merely the VN adaptation that is winding down, I believe.
