no, its just that in the beginning of mothers chapel the sign in the entry has the top floor of the chapel completely censored, and since the inverted chapel is upside down you can only get there from the inverted chapel.You need something from the inverted chapel to open a door in the wholesome chapel?

unless you use the triple box glitch i mentioned to bounce yourself to the top floor in the room after the priests room, you can see a wooden door there that is sadly noninteractive

Yep there is a secret area in the hub section you gotta solve a puzzle in the room once you unlock it. [It's the portal area on the far right]
