some extra help please? I can't for the life of me get back to the door at the start of the long hallway. Do I just go all the way right (where the locked door is) then left and hope for the best?

I think it very well may be just that, since that's what I did and then I did eventually see one of the lit up candles. Never done it myself since I got tired of it but I might reattempt it later and edit this post if I do succeed.

That door is locked. If you want to safely exit, don't enter that staff door in the first place. Find a button at the leftmost of the room you were in before entering the staff door

Progress report (2021/06/10)
I feel like I haven't been updated for a long time, but it doesn't seem to be too long.
In short, I am getting used to this way of life, although I still miss my previous life.
Report the current progress.
At present, I have complete half of the second area of the tiny route,
leaving the last area of the tiny route and the BOSS stage.
I expect I can complete in early July.
Sorry I didn’t have much progress a while ago.
Although my progress is not fast now, I will do it as long as I have time.
I will release it as soon as the game is completed.
Originally, I planned to release the test movie of the enlarge route in first area today.
But because the area is too long and there is a little puzzle-solving element,
I won't disclose the content of that area.
Instead, I took several screenshots of the lab,
which may reveal a little bit of the content of the stage.
So I try not to shoot the important things.
I put the screenshots in the lab at the bottom of this article,
Pull it to the end if you want to see it.
Actually, I just want to show that the game is really in progress.
And I also hope that you can play the game as soon as possible.
I believe you may have to spend more than a few hours to complete the entire laboratory.
In short, I should be making BOSS for the next progress report.
To be honest, a lot of sad things have happened recently,
But I will do my best to accomplish these beautiful things. (Nice)

No. There are three routes planned. Beast, Mega third leg, and small ("child") route.
whoa, judging from that latest news from him, the current update perhaps I think, gonna be nice than the other stages so far
