I think completely transparent dialogue box with white text, black outline is the best. There is a reason why many games use it.

Hey, everyone! Chapter 17 is now in its final stages of development, and will be released early for Patrons between March 29th to 31st, with the public release to follow five days later.
This is a little bit later than anticipated, but I hope the extra development time will make this chapter's sex scenes even more enjoyable.
If Violet is invited to the strip poker night, she will be joined by her boyfriend and Lucas. The older man from the swinger events was also considered as a potential participant, but since Violet might not be acquainted with him (depending on the player's choices), her boyfriend and Lucas are the two I felt were most appropriate. Perhaps Rita will finally be able get a taste of Violet's boyfriend, too?
The delivery scenes also see a more sexual outcome, as the driver falls victim to Rita's attempts at seduction. Similar to the pizza delivery scenes from earlier in the game, this will eventually culminate in full sex in the near future.

I'll be posting one more development update before the chapter's release. Additionally, since there was a significant delay between this post and the previous one, I may also release an extra article regarding my upcoming side project, which is set to have its first version released in mid-April.

This is a few days later than expected, but recent issues with my desktop computer overheating has pushed development slightly behind schedule. As a result, I've transferred all data to my laptop and have resumed work from there.
I'll be updating this post, as well as making an announcement on the Discord server, 24-48 hours before release.
My deepest apologies for the delay with Chapter 17.

Hello! As promised, here is a new update regarding my upcoming side project - Rebel Duet - which is set to have its 0.1 version released later next month.

Essentially, Rebel Duet is a story about the protagonist (selectable female or male) being summoned into a fantasy world by a succubus, to become her bodyguard and sexual partner. The story takes place primarily from a first-person perspective, and deals with darker subject matter than Casual Desires.
One new feature unique to Rebel Duet is an in-game glossary. As the player progresses through the story, new terms and concepts will unlock, providing extra details about this mysterious world they now inhabit. Later on, this will also function as a handbook, which the player can use to consult clues they've gathered regarding a mystery.
As the player trains their succubus companion at night, they will level up various sexual skills, which will in turn unlock new sex positions and sexual acts. This training feature, as well as the player's choices during the story, will have an impact on the nature of their relationship. Rebel Duet can be a pure, vanilla love story, or it can involve complete and total corruption, in which the heroine embraces her succubus nature and becomes a slut of the highest degree. That choice will, of course, be yours to make.
Similar to Casual Desires, a statistics menu will contain sexual information (i.e. number of sexual partners) for both the protagonist and the heroine. A considerable amount of time was also spent creating a world map, which I felt was essential to making the setting believable. A brand-new soundtrack, as well as immersive sound effects, were also carefully selected.

As this is a side project, Casual Desires will continue to be released at the same pace as usual. All Patrons will receive benefits for both Casual Desires and Rebel Duet at no added cost.
