We never got to bang the step sis...
I remember whenever this game used to have a new update and be featured on the frontpage, my coomer brain would always click on it due to the nice artwork. Sad to see those days are gone.

Very much so, the first image looks like she has had a bit too much sun, with not enough sun block, but not quite to the burnt level.

It seems odd that if it is indeed new, that there isn't any new updates posted.
Also slightly unrelated, but without having access to it myself, I wonder if the Discord for the game still exists. Or if it was shut down around the time/not shortly after it was "abandoned".

Possibly, though I do open up bookmarks of a few Patreons every so often, like fortnight to a month, and that banner image jumped out to me as something new; and I remember the old art being the one used in this thread...

Their discord still exist, it's empty in terms of info towards what happened, beside Russian's invasion of Ukraine. I checked it yesterday.
True enough, makes me wonder if something is happening "behind the scenes" that we aren't acutely aware of at the moment.
Though I won't jump to the conclusion that it might mean a renewed effort to see the game completed, however nice as that would be.
Especially as I rather liked the Art style in Catch The Bunny.
Not entirely sure if cautious optimism is worth having in this case.
