I understand that NTR (or cheating, rape and others) is a controversial topic and it can be deal break to lots of players, but it's important to understand I didn't create Celebrity Hunter as a porn game at first. I was not thinking in terms of fetiches. The adult content came later and everything was optional, because it was still being published in Google Play.

As you play, youll find out that main and side characters live dramatic lives. CH is about discovering the dark side of celebrities and decide if you are going to publish that or not and how that impacts your relationship with those characters. Maybe you want to save them, maybe you want to join the "dark side". The game will give you this choices

I'm not going to comment on content or tagging, because I don't want to spoil anything. What I recommend: play the game. Almost every character can be ignored. You can play only the characters and paths you want. Its kind of a sandbox and a true visual novel, when you can decide things. And it's NOT focused on fetiches and is not only about the sex scenes (although it has LOTS of good sex :BootyTime: ).

Sorry for the rambling and please keep the feedback going. You guys are helping a lot  Since the first release, you guys helped so much I can't thank you enough  The game is a lot better thx to you and ill keep doing what you guys ask.

Just to name a few:

- Revamped UI
- A lot of QoL functions and setting options
- Walkthrough (for patrons)
- Some story bits added to smooth the experience (like the Pixie tip at the beach)
- Gallery (its the next one as I'm seeing a lot of players asking for it)
Personally, I have only entered the game because of the Dating sim and romance tags, and I decided to ask when I saw the harem tag in the genre section.

Therefore, is there any way to know in advance which LIs may interest me?

Yeah, the game was developed to be a romantic dating simulator. So you can have a good time with the girls. You really should spend some time with them and see which one conquer your heart  You can be with only one of them and have the others like friends, or go with all of them, but be careful, this choice might have consequences :illuminati:

I think I'll pass. I'm only interested in harem games with romance where the LIs know that the MC is with others and accept it. I have no intention of finding out what the consequences are.

Hello.

I didn't want to comment before playing Sayuri's update but this needed a reply.

Then tell me what's so different in harem games? That's more or less what happens in those games. Though it's the LI that are raped, shared, NTRed, blackmailed, slutified and so on. Furthermore, if you want to pursue more than 1 LI, the harem is unavoidable.
Harem and NTR are the same, it just depends on who the point of view is made.

I'll never understand that war between harem and NTR when they are two sides of the same coin.

Good continuation.
...what? this is increrdibly off topic but if you dont see how harem which involves the MC is different than NTR which is explicitly without the MC's consent idk what to tell you..

That answer was expected and confirms exactly what I was saying : in a harem, the MC consent but not the women, which is exactly the reverse of NTR.
Going further, the MC cheats instead of being cheated on, he is the slut (yeah, the sluttiest character in porn games is the harem protagonist since he has more sex than any prostitute) instead of meeting them, he does things behind the back instead of suffering from it, he forces them to have sex even if they don't want instead of being forced to watch/join/have sex, the women share the MC instead of him being shared, he blackmails instead of being blackmailed.
If you don't see the similarities, even though everything is reversed, I can't do anything for you.

Good continuation.

You really don't see flaw in your reasoning, huh?
Everything you mentioned is opposite of NTR and you still don't see the difference between NTR and Harem? Than let me tell you Blud, It's the difference of perspective. NTR games are from the perspective of "cuck" and Harem games are from the perspective of "bull". I don't get why you think it's all same. Perspective everything changes. If you still think it's the same...live with that delusion. That being said I would end this conversation here as to not go off-topic.

PEACE!

This is solely for DEV, others kindly ignore this.

What you consider, feel or think doesn't diminish the fact nor the original definition. That is still NTR and unavoidable on top of it.

It is "misleading" to say the least that "play the game and than if you don't like the scenario (NTR/rape, etc.) with the love interest you can avoid her as I can't reveal the plot". It's not revealing the plot it's just telling the player which love interest will be exposed to those unavoidable themes in main story which player can't choose and aren't the consequences of players choice. It's obnoxious that player spent buncha episodes and later halfway you found out that a certain love interest is being raped by her director over and over. It kills the flow of story. You've mentioned that game contains at the very least 80 chapters. You think a player would give the game a second go when in between let's say at chapter 40, he encounters this kind of scenario who don't really enjoy this kind of content and played the game on the promise that certain theme is unavoidable? If in certain situation, certain theme is unavoidable and is path of main story than that is not avoidable as there is no choice that enables player to choose whether that's something the player can avoid so, how can that certain theme be avoidable? You should at the very least mention in spoiler in Dev notes list of these kind of love interests.

Everything mentioned in the image below falls under NTR as NTR is a loose term used to describe this whole set of flag as some people consider netorase as NTR while others consider netorare as NTR and there are other who consider them both, etc. Below image contains all types of NTR but Netori doesn't fall under NTR as it is reverse NTR, meaning MMC is the one stealing/using other's love interest's unlike other themes in which MMC's love interest is the one being used/shared/stolen, etc. And Netori is the only theme Harem players like.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Another question I've, If MMC involves with Priscila and chooses her as serious relationship the situation with Gustavo will still continue, right? Just confirming.

Anyway that's all I'd to say.

I'm staying away from this conversion about NTR and whatnot. I don't want to be right and really I don't care about specific fetishes, I just want to develop a good game and let you guys judge. I'm going to respond you because you were kind with this long post :WeSmart:

Lets say you don't like when your favorite character dies. Now imagine that you demand The Avengers to disclose Tony Stark dies at the last scene of the last movie. This is dumb actually.

It's exactly the same. To Celebrity Hunter, some topics are huge story spoilers that drives the main plot forward.

I said before and I repeat, you can call NTR or anything you want, but some developments in the game are STORY related content. They aren't fetishe. Like, for hypotetical example, rape or corruption or incest. Maybe those things are not in the game to scratch some itch, they are plot components, like Tony Stark death is to The Avengers.

Maybe you don't like this particular thing, but, if I'm doing my job right, you gonna keep playing because you will be immersed in the story. If you turn down the game because of one thing, then I did a terrible job.

Play and see for yourself. And if you don't like, come back and leave your feedback, I would love to read it.

Sexual plot vs. death plot? You do you. You know what's best for your game and how you want it. Also, I did play that's why I wrote that post.

Anyway, I guess this be revealed in next chapter/s also?

his point was that it's a little ironic when there's so much enthusiasm for a certain theme when it's done to others, and so much revulsion when it's done to them.

Of course it's not the same thing, but if someone thinks whipping people is totally awesome, yet they recoil in fear and disgust when they see themselves getting whipped, it would certainly raise eyebrows.

In any case dev set it straight in his above post, those themes wont be in the game for titillation but only world-building. I for one would love to see more Priscilla updates.

I mean...what you are saying is literally just perspective. Like...sure if you want to pretend one of the LIs is the main character or something then go for it. This is exactly like saying well the badguy in a movie is really the good guy to him and his crew. Like...no shit if you entirely change the perspective on how you view the media the results change.

Like...no shit? What is this even. You play from the perspective of one single character...not the badguy.

That's simply human nature. Human tend to lean towards things more when they are done to others themselves whether it's psychological or instinctual, we can debate on that. No one wants something bad to happen to themselves. Most people rather be the guy punching than the one taking the punch. That's simply how we evolved in all those years of shaping, through those wars, hunger, survival, etc. Humans from start are like this but as the time goes on we have these things in-built as instincts. Now some do enjoy/tolerate getting punched if the consequence of getting punch is worth it. It's the world we live in, sometimes we do things not bcz we enjoy them but simply bcz we don't want them to be done to ourselves. So him saying it's all same is simply foolishness and on top of it he is simply smug of not accepting/admitting and instead is laughing, such abhorrent behavior towards learning? Anyway, will end this conversation here.

No, most people would rather not be involved period. I'm not talking about a case where one is forced to chose, the analogy here is people delight in one of the options and abhor the other.

Other guy mentioned a movie before - that's a great example - we know who the bad guy is because he does bad things. He's not the bad guy merely by nature of the script declaring him as such and the audience perspective, no, he actively does bad things, things that if the protagonist did would also be seen as bad.

I don't know why im arguing this - because my whole premise hinges on capacity for empathy; and those lacking wouldn't be someone I could persuade anyway....it's a silly side tangent, but the other guys post made me think of how bizarrely common these preferences are in the avn realm....i'd wager considering the demographics, well, there's your answer.

I'm always wondering why whenever we talk about harem and NTR, the harem crowd always gang up on those that thinks differently. At least, you seem to want to have a discussion and not impose your point of view.

First, can you avoid insulting me. Just because I think differently doesn't give you the right to call me blud.
Second, what you say is exactly what I was explaining. You should take some time to read before writing. Yeah, they are different but, at the same time, they have similarities. Like an apple and a pear, they are different fruits but also share some resemblances.
Third, how can you end with peace when you're that aggressive.

Hopefully, Pr0Gamer Johnny explained it better than me.

VN are stories so obviously I'm going to analyze every situations and characters, how everything is fitting. And I feel sad for the girls in a harem, the same as I feel sad for the protagonist in NTR. Being hurt and hurting aren't that different for the spectator.

Your example of the badguy is incorrect since he and his crew know they are doing bad things, even if they have no other choice or like it.

You may think you play as the protagonist while I'm just playing a game since I don't self insert myself.

This is terryfying. You're litterally justifying a bully's behaviour.
Don't do to others what you don't want being done to you.
Humans tend to avoid conflict if they ever have a choice.

I have nothing more to say, too afraid of where this is leading.

Good continuation.
