The argument that is made is very simple, launcher coming, stuff that has to be redone, this is the solution that can give you otherwise you will have no windows or mac version, it seems simple to understand.
Ohh this is pretty normal to understand, but this has to go both ways - If you want to have the game being remade and distributed via a launcher, then just go and do that, instead of trying to push a file that apparently is identical with the previous one and calling it a "remake" to draw attention to it being remade. "Show, don't tell."

To me at least, he isn't "some bastard piece of shit" like you say it. I'm just not cool with what amount of drama the dev is involved in - nothing more, nothing less. Besides, we can't exactly "move on" from that, because this is some pretty serious stuff that has
never really been resolved.
This isn't someone playing a rascly little prank, but a developer who
allegedly tried to manipulate the systems to further his own interests - at that point, this is simply not a trivial offense anymore.
It is also said that he continually causes problems, but there has been no interaction from him in here for a year now, apart from last week, but that is still a year's absence, you cannot say he causes problems if he is not even here.
Honestly? In my opinion, this whole thing was created by miscommunication on both sides, and I don't think it's fair banning for an error or that the links on the front page should be removed, they should be included, because if they were removed because of this matter, then it's also the fault of the forum and whoever managed the thread, if they were removed because Zim "still creates problems", that's an excuse, because he did nothing.
I wouldn't be able to tell if he
continually caused problems or not, but from what I've heard, it's simply not the first time this has happened. It could've very well all been a big misunderstanding, but Zimon didn't exactly do anything to diffuse the situation. Is it fair to just remove all of the contact links to him over this? Well, definitely not
if this was a first misstep, but since this isn't just a developer messing up for the first time, I can at least understand this as a measure being taken.

The second render is much better than the first, the only thing I can agree with is the blurring of the bg, perhaps too strong, but much better in the new one.
You can see that it is not just a change of resolution, it is completely redone.
Exactly because of that. That was my main complaint.
The model sure looks sharper, but all the post processing filters just make this look washed out in all the wrong places. It is an awful contrast when the girl is so sharp and the backdrop so blurred that I have to worry if my glasses need cleaning - sometimes, less is more. The older simply looked more crisp. I just noticed... Is Asmedia missing her tail in that new render? For it to be so prominently displayed in the original, this is an odd thing to have missing.
