I must be missing something or maybe the dev is high...
this is a porn game, people don't want a launcher, also why can't we just download the latest version and be done with it? I feel as if being forced to download something I have no control over. why should I trust this dev to began with?

That's not how it works. If you're asking for someone else to leak it, you need to make a thread here. If you have the file and want to leak it yourself, you go to the OP, hit the report button, choose 'game update', and paste the download link into the text box.
...but why bother, we should be only a few days away now from the public release.

I'm actually quite alright with launchers, usually because launchers with mod support are usually very good for big modlists. Irrelevant for this game, though.
It is nice to see if there's a new update out without having to come over here though.

Actually, the thing i hate is not the laucher itself, is the absurd of time it takes long to update. So, the next time when releases public 0.97, and i see the game ask me: "You want to update to 0.97.1? My answer will be this:
how did just under 3GB turn into 21.2GB?!?!?!? Wow I thought that update was just a little bit of newer material but OMG that is a whole game.
To put this into perspective.
Stardew Valley, Hollow Knight, Among Us, Fallout: New Vegas, Celeste, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Hades, Super Meat Boy, and Cuphead were all developed in less than 5 years. This point and click porn game has taken 5 years 3 months as of me typing this.

The majority of the games you mentioned were developed by teams, not one guy. That rather changes things.

Cant seem to find how to do "You have to look for clues, give the carrot key to tsu" and "time to see whats beyond the portal, get out of your office Jin" quests. i have done everything else up to the point where it says you have completed all the events available for all the other main girls here and and story wise i have finished the part where you officially get recognised by the council as a participant. (did all the other events before due to the notice when doing emiko event to complete all other quests before doing it) but those 2 i could just never find, i tried visiting tsu and wondering the manor all times of day.
Can share save if needed (dunno where save file is located tho)
edit: found them, it just required you to progress wayyyyyyyyyyyyy later into the story which is kinda annoying. there is no reason that i could see for the warning about completing all quests before doing the emiko quest to exist because i could still access all the usual places and there should really be a better hint along the lines of "progress story first" for character events that you cant do.

iirc you have to visit a certain room in the house at a specific time tho i dont remember which. this games hint system is borderline useless sometimes

i ran into same issue you did till i eventually found it by trying random stuff
It's annoying because I want to play the game but I can't do anything so it's very frustrating
.fishing keeps giving me a error and saying displaced fished will be discarded i have to keep pressing ignore but i cant seem to bypass it
