Can someone recommend.me emotional and romantic vn or sandbox with great story like this one
If you like furry/TF stuff Mice Tea has some really solid writing with some great romance scenes. Seriously, not going to spoil any storylines but like... there's a scene in one of the plotlines that had my heart melt. I'm a bisexual dude, and the main character of the game is a bisexual woman, and I wasn't really, like... inserting myself in her place in any of the scenes but then like... if a dude said something to me like some of the things he said to her, we'd be married. I would make that happen.
Once Ever After is a pornographic fantasy meta-narrative take on the Red Riding Hood fable made in RPGMaker by Sierra Lee, who also does The Last Sovereign and did Ouroboros. Writing is solid in all of them but if you're looking for romance Once Ever After I think has the most/best romance scenes of her works.
I've liked the writing in Hush Hush so far at least, for what I've played -- the game has some routing dating sim stuff that kinda necessitates a walkthrough and honestly playing through with one is never really fun for me with VNs, but after repeatedly stumbling my way into game overs I eventually caved and used a spoiler-free walkthrough that was posted in its thread on here. Still, writing and voice acting are good if you can put up with some almost Sierra Adventure Games levels of being able to screw yourself with your decisions.
Love Sucks has solid writing and there's some romance going on in the story. The other games I recommended are finished but Love Sucks is only done with 2 out of 3 nights. Still, the two nights each work as their own self-contained story and I enjoyed them a lot.
My Pig Princess is also furry, also not completed, updating at a decent rate, and has some really good romance writing, although not on the level of... honestly any of the other games I mentioned.
If you're going to check out any of the games I mentioned, make it Mice Tea. Can't recommend it enough, but they're all really good games.

But in all seriousness, what's the best way to kick the developer some cash? Does Itch, Steam, or Patreon take the biggest cut? Or rather what one skims the least?
