Chasing Sunsets Ch5 - Final Dev Update before Beta
We have finished principal art for Chapter 5, and animations are under way. The next post we make here should be the commencement of the beta test and solidifying our expected delivery date.
As always, keep in mind that as integration and finalization progresses, minor new art may be necessary to supplement scenes we feel underrepresented or just off. We'll also take beta feedback into account and make adjustments if our QC team identifies anything that misfires.
Chapter 5 serves as a bridge between the setup half of the story, and when the dominoes begin to fall. We look forward to peeling back more layers of the onion with all of you and showing you how the events of Chapter 4 echo into the following days.
Expect more reveals on the underlying story, meaningful progress with the ladies, a crossover, and as always more achievements, sexy situations, humor, and pop culture jokes.
While the end is in sight, the next few weeks are always the most hectic, so we thank you again for supporting us and we hope we continue to earn your fandom with our next instalment!
When beta is looking solid and we've finalized our post-credits scene, I'll make an announcement with the render/animation count and more metrics on the chapter.
What did Lisa have to say to MC? How effective was Amanda's treatment? Is Jaye freaking out about that second shower? What does George look like in drag? How has Mallory handled the reveal about her identity? Who is that dour chad in the promo picture above?

It's easier to wait when you forget about the game, and for the most part I was able to since I last played Ch.3. Unfortunately, I've come across too many Chasing Sunsets banners in the last week or so that have made it impossible to wait, especially as Ch.5 should be done in the next 2 weeks or so. Haha true, but i haven't been able to forget about Jaye all these months, playing summer's gone, a.o.a academy, wasn't even enough, this game is something else and the best of its kind, can't wait to continue the journey!It's easier to wait when you forget about the game, and for the most part I was able to since I last played Ch.3. Yep.
Acting Lessons and Leap of Faith were the biggest ones for me that did that.
I mean the Chasing Sunsets story is no less engaging or interesting. But the aforementioned 2 really stole my heart and soul at times.

Finished AL a while back and that was a mindfuck, just got to the latest update of LoF, playing the most recent 2 chapters there and enjoyed the hell out of it. I've got my #1 and #1A paths of Lexi solo and Holly+Lexi? throuple ready to go...and even did a Robin+Kira run, though I did not like the direction their path is heading.
That said, just finished Ch.4 of this, and even the post credits scene plus everything else was simply amazing! I still don't know what birthday gift is the better choice to give Jaye. I was tempted to go with Han Solo, but went safe, listened to Mallory and chose the jewelry. I did not expect we'd get that shower scene after the initial morning scene with Jaye...I figured that's as good as we'd get in this update, and boy was I wrong...that was fucking hot!
Just a quick theory-crafting rant, but I'm guessing Mallory is probably a clone of Sarah as it was mentioned crazy stalker Devon took clippings of Sarah's hair after she turned him down when he asked her out. In order for her to have a 99.97% DNA match, she has to be a clone, that's the only logical explanation at this point, though it now kinda makes her fooling around with Alex a little awkward.
Thank God Ch.5 is on the way and closer to being released soon, no way I can wait till June for the next update!

I think the Han Solo will be the better choice. Remember that there were several flashbacks and even in the current time that you 2 were argueing about Han Solo and that he shot first.
Therefore i think that present will bring back alot of memories for the both of you.

I think that the gift selection isn't better or worse but an as-yet-unrealized chance to get a point with either Jaye or Mallory, but not both. My take is that the Han Solo action figure will be the Jaye point. As we go along there will probably be more points like this.
