There's a few folks that use several SanchoMod's (various VN's) that are on Mac (most are on Linux/PC) so there's no reason why it shouldn't work for you tbh.Does this mod work with mac? I've used other mods with mac, but this one doesn't seem to be working for me. Could just be my own stupidity getting in the way though
This helps me guide you. Unlike your:Well if anyone out there that has got this working on mac happens to see this I'd appreciate some tips on how you got it working for you. Most mods I use work by going
Unzip the mod -> Right click whatever game it is -> Click "Show Package Contents" -> Open the "Contents/Resources/autorun" folder -> Hold the Option key and drag the folder named "game" from the mod into the "autorun" folder -> Click merge
But when I unzip this mod I get a folder called "ChasingSunsets-0.9a - SanchoMod" and in that folder is "scripts.rpa" "SanchoMod.rpa", and another folder called "SanchoMod". In that folder is "SanchoMod.key"
Ok great, that makes sense to me. When I get back to my laptop I'll give this a shot. Thanks for the help! This helps me guide you. Unlike your:
"Hold the Option key and drag the folder named "game" from the mod into the "autorun" folder -> Click merge"
go inside the VN's existing "game" folder (probably "Contents/Resources/autorun/game"), then select all the files/folder(s) in the mod's zip and drag them inside that autorun/game folder.
Basically all SanchoMod zips contain all the contents that need to be placed in the VN's "game" folder, but does not contain the "game" folder itself. Make sense?
Hasn't this been part of the mod's core since literally ever? Seriously asking.Just the fact that you added an option to turn off named saves made me want to say thanks
It might easily be, but it's the first time I've used/had a use for it.Hasn't this been part of the mod's core since literally ever? Seriously asking.
Sorry, I've not beeing fully clear. I actually meant the option to switch off named saves, which to my feeling is part of Sancho's since as long as I can recall. Anyway, no offence intended. It might easily be, but it's the first time I've used/had a use for it.
Named saves is one of the most annoying small things I find, as I never use it.. but I don't suppose Sancho can make a mod for every single Ren'py game that I find an interest in
I presume by referring to ANGLE renderer you are playing on Android. None of Sancho's current mods work with Android.I can only play the vanilla game without lag using ANGLE render, but I get an error every time I press "START" or at the end of each chapter where you can't see anything at all and get another error (the screen with Jane and Mallory's love/trust points). You can ignore it and continue, but you will miss the content of that screen.
My question is whether Sanchomod allows you to play with ANGLE renderer without these errors .
Thank you very much .
Nope, launch the game and press "shift+G".I presume by referring to ANGLE renderer you are playing on Android. None of Sancho's current mods work with Android.
Well, SanchoMod actually demands more system resources and processing power than the base VN... so the short answer is no, it would be worse than your experience with just the base VN if you are having issues with just that alone. Also, SanchoMod complex API usage mandates a minimum of GL2, so that's stacked against you as well in this case.My question is whether Sanchomod allows you to play with ANGLE renderer without these errors .
Sancho has stated before that he won't do that as he likes actual game scenes to be unlocked as we unlock them through normal gameplay.Love your mods. Could we get a Scene, Photo, and Achievement unlock ability added to this mod? Yes, your mod has a gallery, but not the ability to unlock so you can view in main viewer. There is no Photo or Achievement unlock at all, so images and achievements you don't have unlocked cant be unlocked.
Yes, they are different, obviously you need to "own" the Steam version to use it.I'm starting the game now, is there any difference between the Steam version and the Steam version?
I thought this was the game's trend hahaha, now that I see it's from a modYes, they are different, obviously you need to "own" the Steam version to use it.
