So if you had an option to pick Jaye, Tara, Jill and Jeane, you'd pick Jill every time?Every girlfriend "loved" me, but no one waited virgin 5 years for me
This is a huge sacrifice, quite insane, to which it is impossible to remain indifferent.
It's just a topic of discussion. I don't have any issues with it (nor do I think felicemastronzo and WICKEDp4th have issues with it), I've said it many times before - I don't care if Jaye is a virgin or not. I'd still pick her every time.Of all the issues people could have had with this game, I'm still amazed you guys are so hung up on the fact that she might still be virgin or not ô_ô
No one's throwing a tantrum. It's just a conversation about the LI's and their past. I don't see how you got that impression.People with cuck fetishes get very angry at games that don't pander to them and get upset if every LI hasn't had 50 dicks by the time the story starts.
People can like what they want I guess but I don't know why we need the same tantrum for the umpteenth time in this thread.
It's an issue with all AVN's anyway. The MC has to be the best at everything, the most liked guy and the one who's always right and whenever he loses/makes mistakes it isn't of his own accord, but due to circumstances that aren't in his control. It's not like Jaye waited all that time thinking "mc is gonna return anyday now".
If you maxed her points in the prologue you left such an impression on her that subconsciously she started comparing other guys to you, and that made her lose any interest in them. Besides in all that time she had Tara to relieve her of all sexual frustration anyway.
You raise a valid general problem common to most AVNs, just on the wrong game cause here both girls have a reasonable back-story to justify it and are still very young to boot (what are they, 23 now?).
It seems that Jaye already knew at the end of the Prologue who she loved and who she wanted to be with. It's the circumstances and the misunderstanding of the subsequent events that followed that lead to the breakdown of the relationship with the MC.The distinction about Jaye seems weak to me. If no one was up to MC's standards, it doesn't seem that far off to say that in fact she waited for him. A beautiful 18-19 year old girl.. What she did or didn't do with Tara is irrelevant.
Why Jill?So if you had an option to pick Jaye, Tara, Jill and Jeane, you'd pick Jill every time?
No offense but I find that train of thought ridiculous.
I put Jill in there because she was the only LI that I can thinking of that was saving herself for someone, while her situation isn't exactly like Jaye's. That's why I said in the last paragraph that Jaye was incredibly headstrong - she knew who and what she wanted. Why Jill?
Jill is a virgin for her own sake, Jaye is only a virgin because of the MC, they are two different situations. Wanting Jill is more like Mallory, not Jaye
Jaye gives a huge show of affection, love call it what you will, to MC. Mc could tell her she fucked up? While he for his part enjoyed life? Really?
Blackmail is too strong a term, but it's a confession (pretty useless as you say) that puts a huge weight on MC's decision
P. S. Jeane even against the other three put together
But isn't it weird that a woman that can be described as fiery, impulsive, stubborn, independent and incredibly headstrong has weird hangups about purity? Let's be honest, Jaye being a virgin is porn logic entirely. On the other hand the PC's purity doesn't matter to her and in the end she'll probably happily share him with Mallory depending on our choices.Jaye was presented as fiery, impulsive, stubborn, independent and incredibly headstrong. She doesn't like it when people stick their noses in her business (as was shown with the girl that got punched in the throat and the MC at her graduation party).
If she's virgin or not at this point is irrelevant, the point is that she wanted to save herself for the MC. She loved him more than anyone else at that point, though she might not have realized it. Perhaps she discovered those feelings after MC ran away and the feelings overwhelmed her.
It can be attributed to her personality, though. It's something that she has chosen based on her feelings for the MC. Morally right isn't the right word I was looking for, but I guess it can be used to describe Jaye. That doesn't mean she's completely virtuous though, as she's shown that she's prone to wrath. But isn't it weird that a woman that can be described as fiery, impulsive, stubborn, independent and incredibly headstrong has weird hangups about purity? There's nothing wrong with porn logic in a porn game, but from a story telling perspective it's a little meh.
maybe she intimidated guys cause of her personality, maybe she perceived them as beneath her, her virginity can be explained in various waysBut isn't it weird that a woman that can be described as fiery, impulsive, stubborn, independent and incredibly headstrong has weird hangups about purity? But does the fact that Jaye waited in sexual abstinence (and not as an assumption but as an explicit statement) mc add anything positive to the character? It can be attributed to her personality, though. That's why I've said it that the devs did an amazing job in writing the characters. Like there are no perfect and flawless characters in the game.
It is Jaye who tells us this, why should we not believe her?maybe she intimidated guys cause of her personality, maybe she perceived them as beneath her, her virginity can be explained in various ways
Here’s the thing though - is that her defining character trait? Is that the first thing to come to your mind when someone mentions Jaye? But does the fact that Jaye waited in sexual abstinence (and not as an assumption but as an explicit statement) mc add anything positive to the character?
In my opinion no, it gives her at most a disturbing nuance
And those for whom it is very important news scare me a bit
It is the second moment of intimate confession between the two, which effectively starts their relationship. It may not be fundamental but you cannot consider it unimportant either...Here’s the thing though - is that her defining character trait? Is that the first thing to come to your mind when someone mentions Jaye?
If your answer to both questions is yes, then cool, but I don’t think you understanded the character very well.
Besides, it’s not something that’s overbearingly important, it’s just a detail of her past.
It’s not like it’s something that she mentions every time she talks with the MC.
i was addressing that person's complaint who believes a fiery girl can't be a virgin, according to him it's weird & unrealistic, i simply presented a few scenarios where such a thing can happen. It is Jaye who tells us this, why should we not believe her?
mhm.. mhm. Here’s the thing though - is that her defining character trait? Is that the first thing to come to your mind when someone mentions Jaye?

Okay, maybe unimportant wasn’t the right word to use in that sentence. It is the second moment of intimate confession between the two, which effectively starts their relationship. It may not be fundamental but you cannot consider it unimportant either...
No, but the point in fact that she has not to tell anything, she had her life as MC. It would be uninportant, but if she wanted to tell that became significantOkay, maybe unimportant wasn’t the right word to use in that sentence.
It’s significant, but not like a critical part of her character would be the more appropriate way to describe it.
Like if you learned if she was in a relationship with someone else while the MC, would that diminish her value in your eyes?
Since the words came out of her mouth, it became a part of her character. So what, I don't see a problem with it. Why is it such a big deal anyway? No, but the point in fact that she has not to tell anything, she had her life as MC. It would be uninportant, but if she wanted to tell that became significant
Because it makes me feel bad when I dump herSince the words came out of her mouth, it became a part of her character. So what, I don't see a problem with it. Why is it such a big deal anyway?
Don't be a fanboy....Since the words came out of her mouth, it became a part of her character. So what, I don't see a problem with it. Why is it such a big deal anyway?
I'm not being a fanboy, you're picking at straws trying to find fault in a character and being unreasonable in the process. It breaks my heart to see you like this, my brother.Don't be a fanboy....
Jaye waited 5 years illibate her brother/lover, that is creepy for me, or any way not positive
At the first date with a long time crush do you ask how many partners she had? I don't, and if she answer she waited for me i would find that creepy
I should forget that moment
