I dont get it why Mallory kisses the MC back in the city - not when you avoided the kiss with her earlier. Yeah it is needed to escalate the situation .. but still. It's a bit out of the blue.

That she brings her "rapist ex" with her is hard ... and Mallory is probably the MC' (step?)-sister - I guess that she is the daughter of his mother with Mallorys dad and he committed suicide bc she married someone else. At least that is my theory.

All in all its a nice "start"

I guess we will see, this episode left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

I know that numerous people have made reference to the differences between fiction and non-fiction when it came to the phone blocking. The same is for the reference to the show/helo Airwolf. After the show was cancelled, the helo was stripped down and sold to a German conglomerate. The helo was destroyed in a crash in 1992 that took 3 lives.

My "day job" is as a network architect for a major cellular company, and I assure you, phone blocks are/can be done at the account level through an app on our phones, as well as on the phone itself.

We were aware the original AirWolf's real-world airframe demise, but Kentyrr was a big fan of the show as a kid, and so it was an easter egg for his benefit. Tonalu is also (obviously) fictional. We pick and choose what pop culture references we pull from the real world based on our understanding of copyright law, parody, and convenience to the story. We chose a fictional island location because we didn't want to be painted into a cultural corner with an island location.

I just thought of something... The cliffhanger is based on the fact that we have to make the connection between the body spray and Rapey.
But if it was really Rapey, we would have seen him and THEN cut to black. That would have been the actual cliffhanger.

The fact that we don't see him and just a clue that it MIGHT be him is maybe a clue that he's not there.

I know it's a little far-fetched but I just thought of it.

possible, but I personally see 2 ways:

1: they introduce elements like rapey, to tell a war of nerves between the 2 brothers; with the risk of always having to give twisted explanations that in the medium term would make me lose interest.

2: they created a cliffhangher to art and in the second chapter they will really try to deepen in a more mature way the past and the feelings of the characters, providing simpler but REALISTIC narrative scenarios.

there is also an aspect that is unknown to us to consider: how did the developers want to develop their business? want to tell their game through patreon donations? or do they want to make money through their game? this difference greatly changes the evolution of history

Yeah they may agree on the ugly part after thinking it over or even directly, but if in their eyes it is not for shock value but plot purposes they are in their eyes fully allowed to use it. Now I would be more on your side as theirs, but still.

Why are there so many that are on Team Mallory? I am going to go back and play this through...probably several times...but if I remember correctly, she had just started her vacation and her boss (Glade??) pushed her into an assignment that involves the MC and the Biotech Company. I cannot help but feel that everything she is doing is only to get her the answers that she wants. It just seems to me that she is good at her job and that is exactly what she is doing.........her job.

Also remember her vacation was not what she'd told her boss it was. She said she was off to visit family but doesn't have any. She also said to herself that she hopes he (her boss) doesn't find out the real reason she's out there.

She's shadey AF.

Well my thoughts on why did she kiss MC is she could've done it on purpose. She's relatively new character and even though she apears all good, nice and cute we still have to know her. Like what's her gain, her agenda? How is she conected to MC and Jaye?

That part also confused me too but for a different reason lol. I almost thought she was working with a Two-Face from Batman situation with the way she was acting lmao. When she showed her eyes finally it didn't get the reaction from me that I think the dev was going for. It was more like a "...Okay and...?" moment for me.

Initially I wasn't even sure what I was supposed to be seeing because of screen contrast/brightness. It was very underwhelming. When she first grabbed her face and began to crack up I actually sat up because I thought we might possibly find out she had an artificial left eye which would imply some extreme physical abuse when she was child.

What a nice guy he is. Only banging unhappily married women, or of course their virginal daughters. I know he really respects ol Ray out in Aspen banging his wife and daughter.


While I'm still 100% #teamjaye. The only innocent, trust worthy and character I'm not suspicious of is the Bar Keep. And may poor dumb innocent Ray.

I definitely agree. However i think that the game course will be to interact with Jaye. I do have one Jaye path in my game so even if she bring that guy in i still want to see what happens if i act positively if that's possible.
