Okay, I'm so confused. In the game, it was implied that Jaye had her first time with Christin. She even said, after sleeping with the MC, that she didn’t save herself for him and had dated a lot of guys. But she also mentioned that she didn’t throw herself at them, she made them work for it and merely a replacement.
Also, why didn't she attend his most important game and instead had sex with Christin? It feels like Jaye lost interest on MC and decided to change or am I getting this wrong?

But now I’m seeing comments saying she never had sex with anyone except the MC? So which is it? Did I make different choices?
There are two different branches depending on decisions you made in the first chapter. Jaye may or may not have chosen to move on during college, depending on those decisions, but she didn't sleep with Christian in either. That guy has problems that you have not had disclosed to you as yet. She saw Christian as a friend, and he saw her as an opportunity, but it was never about sex really. You will find out more about this later in the VN.

I see, I see. But how can we actually tell if she moved on or not? Does it even have any real consequences later in the game?

Ah, that makes sense. I’m not sure if he was gay, but I think they used the word “asexual” (someone please fact-check this). Still, I don’t get why she felt the need to reiterate that she didn’t save herself for him tho. Maybe I just read too much into it, like it was implying it wasn’t her first time. Some comments here also mentioned that it changes depending on the choices you make, is that true?

Tbh, whether or not she had past relationships doesn’t really matter, I just thought it felt like a weird plot hole or something.
Fact check is in the post above yours :ROFLMAO:

When I checked the files looking for it, I couldn't actually find the "didn't save herself for him" bit. I was going to confirm that was a different path, depending on earlier choices, but I didn't see it. If you have the wording, I can do a search of the script based on it though and confirm the two options. Otherwise, he says stuff like Jaye must have had a "thirst club" I think it was, but she says no. She knew she loved him from an early age and going with anyone else would have been "settling".

I tried to phrase it in a way as to not spoil anything, but the moment that is important seems to be whether or not you get caught reading her diary. As for whether or not she fools around in college, it doesn't seem to impact the relationship long term any more than the fooling around MC was doing during the same duration. While MC was banging every Jaye doppleganger he would come across, Jaye may have been essentially trying the same thing with any boy band reject that talked about Han Solo.

Yeah TonyMurray "Open your mind" which sounds like the opening to every dystopian movie ever made. :ROFLMAO:
Open your mind and let some AI do your thinking for you. Looking at the AI's "guide" I am not impressed, far better ones are available made by real people.
Now ask it to make sense of the fact that you can only get a Jaye and Mallory polyamorous ending if you completely reject Mallory after sleeping with her and fully commit to Jaye, you will likely see it malfunction. "Does not compute....." :ROFLMAO:
Bless your heart! The generation of artists around each time new methods or tech have been introduced have likely bitched about the new tools: "Pre-mixed paints! Pre-made brushes! Vellum they don't have to skin and tan themselves! It's witchcraft and unnatural!" Let me guess: you still think the camera steals your soul, don't you. ;)

Most AI is crap - it doesn't mean it isn't still a tool to use, especially if you're creating for yourself and not commercially or, if commercially, as a graphic designer that's already creating mindless, soulless "art" for ad agencies. If you're honest, I bet you like watching movies with modern CGI, the precursor to modern AI, better than you like the stuff that came out in the 50s, 60s, and even into the 80s and 90s, at least with respect to backgrounds and effects (make up still makes a better character than CGI does - just compare LoTR to The Hobbit). As much as I like 90s era movies like The Fifth Element, it bugs me every time I watch it and see the Spaceliner take off for Fhloston Paradise and you see the little square around the image cut into the film.

It's a tool and it isn't going away. Things change - get over it.

I have the same view as you and those technological advances didn't stayed static, they evolved and most of them more efficient and the ones that didn't got discarded, there are plenty of examples of both. At the moment most AI is crap, doesn't mean it will stay like that, after all creative AI is still in its infancy but logic AI like Chess AI are already in a stage that no human can beat.

I'm more worried with what the humans beings with real power will do with those tools (nurture) than the tools itself (nature?). Technology isn't good or bad, its the ones wielding it that will shape our future view and use of it.

Yeah lol The Fifth Element practically was the last known sci fi movie that was made with that older visual effects generation, few months after ILM with The Phantom Manace brought the new generation of CGI and lighter and more portable better cameras. Probably Avatar brought the next one, not really sure and so on and so on always aiming for efficiency. Things evolve and change and it is normal to feel nostalgic to older times and their techniques, I am too sometimes but I try to embrace new tech or I'll just be left behind.

Edit : I wanted to give a like to your post but dang forum seems bugged today, to some posts I can and others say I reached the limit. Anyway a (y) for you.

That particular scene just stands out because it was the same kind of thing you saw 20 years earlier in Star Wars (before it got remastered all to hell and George added a bunch of shit - really hated when they used the prequel actors for the "ghost" images at the end of Empire Strikes Back - that was just sacrilege ). You would expect things to have gotten better in that time, but that was also before we started getting truly exponential growth in digital technology.

I remember all of my friends getting Palm Pilots and Blackberries in the late 90s and I wanted to hold out for a "Palm Pilot with a phone". Well, today we call them "Smart Phones" and they go well beyond what either separate tech did initially. I ended up with a StarTac and a Palm Pilot because the whole shebang took about three years longer to come together than I expected it too.

The exact words were as follows:
"It's not like I saved myself for you, but I made my dates works for it"
"But I always knew deep down that they were stand-ins for what I really wanted"

The phrasing was super ambiguous, sleep deprived 3AM me had a mental breakdown trying to figure it out and needed to know the answer lol. Sorry for the trouble everyone!

If you max the score with Jaye in the Prologue, she will save herself for the MC and will be a virgin when they finally have sex. Otherwise, you will get the dialogue you're describing.

Ah, I was only looking in the first 5 chapters (I think earlier you said you were on chapter 5) and that's in chapter 6, so that's why I could't find it :ROFLMAO:

So you get that dialogue as a combination of four factors, from what I can see -
The code reads: if bool003 == False and bool004 == False and bool036 == True and bool037 == True:

The first two are negatives, so you need to not do those - 003 is trying to read the impressions from the ripped-out page in Jaye's diary (so I think if you do that, it takes more time and she catches you/it's worse when she catches you); 004 is sucker punching Christian. The other two are positive things - 036 is "throw her a bone" when talking in the prologue and you go on to talk about Han Solo, and 037 is "try an olive branch", also in the prologue.

So basically, as Kirel said, you need to do the good stuff (don't try to read the diary page, don't actually hit Christian, be friendly with her when given the options), and she'll save herself for you. If you don't do that, she'll have sex with others before you.

I asked recently if they have endings, they said they don't, is there still no ending, it says completed, but how can there be no ending?
