This is absolutely one of the best games around,the story telling is excellent, the models are stunning,the humor in it is exceptional. I love all the cameos in this game as well. Lexi from leap of faith,the waitress girl with two colored eyes from last call..the stewardess from adventurous couple I think it's called..10/10 for sure. Can't wait to see what happens with my girl Jaye

i don't get why hot chicks are being introduced every update if their role is minimal, just save them for a different game & have this one focus on jaye & mallory, so much wasted potential.

You could try for the other girls on another playthrough ,I'm sure thats what the game dev intended anyways

Agreed. It's more realistic that they both have had previous partners and for both to have tried to get over the other one while they're apart. Even if Jaye isn't actually a dick virgin (and if you play the game naturally she probably won't be) Alex still seems to be considerably more experienced and have had more relationships, however fleeting they might be. But perhaps what's really missing is symmetry in their attitudes and their experiences. If Jaye is going to save herself for Alex, then Alex should have had the chance to do the same. Imagine how different the first part of the game could be in that case. Right now Alex hooking up with one of the side girls goes something like this:

Alex: I have this thing for my stepsister, but we just can't be together. The pain is awful...I wish I could escape it and find some solace if just for a moment.

Side girl: Ooh, how romantic! I know just how to comfort you.

Instead the situation could go more like this:

Alex: I don't allow myself to touch other women because I know my stepsister is my future lifemate. We may not talk or have anything to do with each other at the moment, but I just know we're fated to be together and I want to be pure for her. ...Does that sound weird?

Side girl: *backs away slowly*

It's been a long time since I played the first part of the game, but I plan to start a fresh playthrough soon with the understanding and foreknowledge that the character I'm playing is in fact something of a jerk and a hypocrite and most definitely not a paragon of virtue. Like ename144, I haven't been able to pick the Linda option before because it felt wrong, but the fact is the affair is canon. The friend who helped our character has already been betrayed by Alex, and the fact that we might turn down banging Linda one more time isn't going to impress anyone or make the situation any better. Also, hurting Linda by rejecting her and then encouraging her to stay in an unhappy relationship is hardly heroic or in any way fixing anything. Another thing I want to try is to accept Tara's offer of help while at the same time NOT romancing Jaye. Squeezing in a little more Tara time with a little deception would hardly be Alex's worst act.

What really turned me against the Alex-Jaye relationship originally was how Alex's obsession lead him to take advantage of Fiona. Here was this nice woman in a horrible situation and in pain yet Alex was content to use her as a Jaye proxy just because she happened to have red hair. That just made me want Alex to put Jaye out of his mind, become a better person, and love Fiona instead.

THIS! SO MUCH THIS! Its not right in any way shape or form to tell her to stay with her husband based on what we have seen except for meta reasons to shut the interest down. For those reasons I had no issues setting Alex up with Linda again, their fling was cannon and amicable, it felt real except the cabin location and company. Its wishful thinking there is something to save there, either shes been on the prowl for years or she is genuinely over the husband and too much into our MC Alex. Realistically either way the marriage is over. No moral ifs about it imo.


I agree with your assessment about the unequal pairing of the step siblings. Its one of the reasons i find i real hard to pair them up romantically. The only barely mitigating factor is perhaps a purely physical Tara/Jaye thing that might have been an intimate distraction for years? If that didnt happen either its [mentally disturbed and broken] levels of weirdness instead of just weird that Jaye have kept her clearly energetic young sex drive AND Alex fixation for that amount of time without release.

Linda (I think that was her name, the blonde that you end up sleeping with in the same bed with her daughter), complains about her husband/boyfriend that things aren't really going well. You get options what to answer her - that he's a good guy or that she should leave him (or something like that).

I don't remember seeing Fiona's husband, I think he's only mentioned in the game. But it's also mentioned that he gave MC a job or helped him or something along those lines.

You are mixing up Fiona's unnamed husband vs Linda's husband Ray. Fiona's husband never gave MC a job or help him or anything along those lines.

Not to open this can of worms again, but these are also the reasons for why I can't help rolling my eyes, when Jaye's chastity comes up. Realistically, how would her bringing that up ever go over well?

Of course this all depends on our choices, but I'm pretty sure that I skipped Fiona and still got raunchy messages from her. Same with Erica. It's not possible to avoid Fiona in the prologue. You have some opportunities to ignore her texts, but she keeps sending them all the way to Chapter 4; it's not clear if she'll persist beyond that without encouragement.

AFAICT, Erica will only send suggestive messages/pictures to the MC if he sleeps with her during Chapter 1. Otherwise, at most she'll say she's still interested when giving you an update on the wolf pup (assuming you save him with Mallory).

As for Jaye, it's worth noting (again) that she's implied to be a virgin only under certain circumstances. So the game is at least tacitly acknowledging that the MC had to make a big impression for her to wait for him. Still not a fan of it, but I can accept that rationale. I just wish the mechanics were less opaque.

In my personal opinion, the reason that the women are so much better looking in these games is that there are so many more women's models available to developers. Also, the developers probably spend more time refining the female models than they do the male ones.

The reason for the above two reasons is that this is a male-dominated audience, and we want gorgeous females to look at, and don't care as much how the males look. We gripe about the males' looks but we still play the games. If we don't like the looks of the females, we don't play. The developers and the studios that provide the models to them know where their revenue supply is coming from.

I think the devs did a good job considering there aren't many options to choose from, and despite that they came up with a memorable MC that I personally haven't encountered in other games (he looks similar to the MC of Midnight Paradise, but there are some differences between them).

He isn’t fugly. I guess he looks „goodish“ enough for getting all the Girls (from a believable point of view), i‘ve seen much worse male main characters, but tbh he is not my priority for attention. That would be Jaye (who would have thought).

Eh, he's decent to be honest. It could be worse like the MC from Bad Bobby Saga or Foot of the Mountains (which are like the worst of them all).

There aren't that many assets for haircuts for males anyway and this one and the old haircut from BaDIK are some of the better options.
