I went through the last update to the end and did not find an answer to who MC and Jay really are to each other. I've been worried about this question since the scene on the beach when Jay says that she is not MC's half-sister, and then the test tubes were mixed up in the laboratory. Am I missing something or has this information not appeared yet?

I believe that has been deliberately left unresolved, probably for Patreon reasons.
From what I remember, they were raised as brother and sister but turned out to not be related.

According to the devs, specifically Stoya, it is likely this will be left unresolved, he stated as such when I asked him about it on Discord.

It is Patreon, as such they have to abide by those same rules on Discord, they wouldn't divulge one way or another.
Yeah, Patreon has their spies everywhere - that includes here almost certainly.

Well belleve it or not, Stoya's thoughts on this have nothing to do with Patreon. He initially wanted to provide a definitive answer to that question (not revealing what his thoughts actually were), but is rather fond of the ambiguity it's left in, and of the idea that love can thrive and be allowed to be what it is without complications. He was aware of the potential Patreon matter but that didn't factor in his reasoning. And I kinda like that approach myself: what does it change really to the Jaye-MC love relationship at this stage? If they're together by the end of chapter 9, they've already had that conversation and agreed that it wouldn't matter either way (when they didn't have the test results)...

I don’t really understand why it was even necessary to raise the topic that MC and Jay could be someone else besides half-brother and sister. It’s even hard for me to imagine who they could be, considering that they have different biological parents.

They’re not even half-siblings, they’re step-siblings. Being half-sibling would mean they have one biological parent in common.
As for raising that topic of actually being potentially related…it’s still a major plot point, regardless of the actual answer. It’s brought in their relationship status and they discuss it at length…

Just reached the night out with Lisa, as much as I love Jaye It Is almost physically painful to me that neither Lisa or Bianca are LI's.

Lisa is a main LI in their next game, Firebreak. Agreed about Bianca though, I am hoping that she gets a good ending here, but honestly she deserves to be the star of her own game. JUSTICE FOR BIANCA!!
Adding Lisa and Tara to Firebreak is just fan service let's face it. That VN will have plenty of LIs even without them.

Since they were going fan service route for Firebreak, I wish they went all the way and added Bianca, and maybe even those girls from the snow lodge, Linda and Erica
Tara and Lisa are cool, but the girls listed above are way better and I like more.
