He lives/lived in Texas and I'm well aware of the weather going on around that time since I'm just a bit north of the Houston area. The thing is, he was active after all of the major events of early June. He was last seen here June 24 (if I remember correctly) which was a "dead zone" between major storm impacts. I got the impression he was in the Piney Woods region (East Texas, north of the Houston area, well south of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area) and the only storms that impacted that area to any degree was a straight-line system the first or second week of June, and Hurricane Beryl, the second week of July. There was also the remnant of the "A" storm (a TS, not a hurricane) the third week of June that impacted far South Texas near the border, but he didn't seem to be from that area based upon things he said here in the forums. So, last he was seen here was the last week of June last year, but no major weather events occurred close enough to that time for that to be the issue. I'm not sure how that story got started, but it doesn't track with the reality of the weather around the State at the time. My guess is that the "1969" in his name was his birth year (people seem fond of doing that), so he was in his mid-50s. Even if that wasn't his birth year, I still got the impression he was in that age range from discussions here. Granted, not terribly old (I'm older), but old enough for something medical to take you out, and he talked all the time about drinking every evening as he worked. I'd suspect health or misadventure, but unless someone within this forum actually knew the guy outside the forum, we will likely never know what really happened.

I am pretty sure they unlock them after a certain amount of time. As the previous one I believe were locked at one point in time.
I mean the game and update itself only cost $1, same as seeing those teasers and dev logs. It's not like they are trying to gouge people here.
Except not every single one is locked, only about 25% of them are locked.
If you see locked posted as in all of them, log into Patreon, and you can subscribe to any Patreon member for free and see their "public" posts.
The ending is lacking compared to Leap of Faith, which was made by the same folks from what I can tell. The completed tag does feel off but it's not the only game that got updated after being completed, Monster College did the same thing. It was released with a lazy ending, got flaked, and ended up adding content post "completion". Unlike aaa studios that can ignore the fanbase if you make a living off Pantheon, pissing off all of your customers is a bad idea.
The game is great, just needs a better closure IMO. I'm sure there is going to be another one in the same universe considering that the characters from the two made so far criss cross.

It's not the same people making the 2 AVNs (they just shared some cameos).
Chasing Sunsets may or may not be completed for F95 tagging purposes (depending on who you ask - let's not go there).
But there is epilogues coming. (and they shouldn't be too far away now, they were aiming for May).
Im aware of that, im sub for a lot of devs. I was just venting a bit about the ones who do it and its more than just a few. I cant say anything in regards to Chasing sunsets tho
new to the game. but is there a possibility to involve tara as more than the other female characters like amanda bianca lisa and even the chef. Jaye was perfect for MC from the very begining the story itself made her perfect LI for the MC. was just wondering my playthrough was leading to commited relationship with Jaye since i decided to ignore almost all cheating possibilities, but still interested in polyamory relation on my next. but Malory just seems very good side character instead hoped Tara would be more involved in their life as supporter and their mutial LI but not neccesarily live together thing

This game is mostly about romancing two main girls Jaye and Mallory. There are side girls but your interactions with them are limited.
Tara is going to be a main girl in their next game Firebreak, same with Lisa.

Okay, I've tried everything. I even installed the walkthrough mod. Is there a way to end up with both Mallory and Jaye? And/or Amanda? She's adorable and kind of perfect.

The Walkthrough mod is designed to show you all the lewd scenes rather that put you on paths. You can get a poly ending with Jaye and Mall, search the thread, people have put step by step guides up, but basically:
Do a romance path with Jaye
After sex with Mallory (first time), tell her it's just to help her, nothing more.
Towards the end when Jaye is upset choose 'what's wrong' and then 'phone a friend'
When leaving the cabin with Mall tell her you 'wish things were different'.
When you have sex with Jaye at George's place at the end, you need at least 95 love points with Jaye and 80 with Mallory.
Then Jaye will offer you a chance to be with both of them. (But not together - no threesomes).
Mallory/Amanda is pretty straightforward, just go for it when you're having a threesome. (Whether that will be an ending is unclear).
But there will not be an ending with all 3.

Look how manty games sold by AAA studios are basically betas full of bugs that the playtesting is done by those who bought it. Wouldn't be surprised if they start charging for fixes - which modders often do a better job fixing.

The reason the ending feels like there is no closure is because it isn't a ending. There is still a Epilogue coming out soon where every path will get it's proper closure. Some F95 mod just wrongly tagged this as 'Completed' and refuses to change it for some reason.
There is, but it's not the usual way.
You need to have relationships with both Mallory and Jaye but later you break things with Mallory and choose Jaye. Don't be vague about it. Firmly choose Jaye but have high Affection with Mallory. If you do, in the last lewd scene with Jaye, she will propose that you enter a polyamorous relationship.
There isn't a path where Amanda is involved with Jaye, no. But you can have Mallory/Amanda in the same path.

You should be able to open the game files and find the audio files; it might be named the name of the sound/sound effect. Could also try one of those music naming services where you play it and it identifies it.
