Do we have any ETA on when the Epilogue is supposed to release?
No official ETA as of yet, but the last update said the epilogue's just about to enter beta testingDo we have any ETA on when the Epilogue is supposed to release?
Endings, epilogues are still coming and there is a Jaye/Mallory Poly ending. It's kind of hard to get, but there is a heap of information in the thread about how to get it.kindof easygoing game tried a few times had couple different endings. kinda disapointing that MC does not have ending with both LI since they had chemistry the whole game and Jaye was not a jealous type. but still glad that the main ending invlovles Jaye being with MC at the end and enters the bar. donno if there will be any update with different endings

Jesus christ I thought it would look less silly and contrived 9 months later, but if anything it looks even worse. I'm glad that I already have my poly save so won't have to jump through those hoops again.Endings, epilogues are still coming and there is a Jaye/Mallory Poly ending. ok, gonna try later on. it was hard to get both of them point upYou can have both but it is not so easy to get.
I'm still confuddled that you have to tell Mal you don't like her and it's just helping her, to actually get her at the end.Jesus christ I thought it would look less silly and contrived 9 months later, but if anything it looks even worse. hoping for a 'non-canon' ending to make up for how bad this story-telling approach is, and how we were misled throughout the game not only with an open path but also with in-game advice about being honest which didn't pan out.
Honestly, from a character perspective, this path to Jaye proposing poly makes sense to me. Jaye has a lot of insecurities about MC actually loving her, so I can understand her being more comfortable proposing poly when she's very confident that MC loves her and wants to commit to a long-term relationship with her. A committed couple opening their relationship to a third person is a pretty common way for poly to occur in real life. Don't get me wrong, open relationships of 3+ people deciding to commit to each other is another common way for poly to form, but mostly only when the people involved are overall happy with the open relationship and want to make things more committed. For Jaye specifically I can see why an open relationship might not be a good fit for her.I'm still confuddled that you have to tell Mal you don't like her and it's just helping her, to actually get her at the end.![]()

Yeah it's completely nonsensical. The worse part is that it makes something that should have felt fun and amazing, just be a complete let down. Hopefully they will make up for it with the epilogue but I'm not going to hold my breath.I'm still confuddled that you have to tell Mal you don't like her and it's just helping her, to actually get her at the end.![]()

True. However, Jaye and MC are not-step-siblings and Mal is their not-mother-clone. They have a unique relationship as a result of their upbringing and shared history that transcends the ordinary forming of a throuple from three strangers. If devs wanted to capture the emotional intricacies of intimacy in a throuple to make it grounded in reality, then I feel like they could have chosen a vehicle with less fantastical elements and characters that were not so over-the-top extraordinary (rich/talented/perfect physiques/life-saving heroics/etc.). Given the story context and character decisions, I feel like 'MC gets the girls' so long as he follows the in-game advice about being honest should bear out.Honestly, from a character perspective, this path to Jaye proposing poly makes sense to me. From a gameplay and player experience perspective though, it's a very different story. If they wanted to make committing to Jaye a prerequisite, I'd have preferred a way to do that while still being honest upfront that I was committing to Jaye, but had feelings for Mal rather than essentially pretending that attraction wasn't there.
If Jaye had laid down an ultimatum at that point, something like 'if you want to be with me, then you have to not be with anyone else', and MC/Player was able to make a choice like 'I really like Mal, but I can't mess up what I have with Jaye'.Yeah it's completely nonsensical. The worse part is that it makes something that should have felt fun and amazing, just be a complete let down. Hopefully they will make up for it with the epilogue but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Yeah, this was a top 15-20 avn for me, but how they did the throuple path is just so dumb. Just tell the girl you don't like or care for her, then ignore her romance for like the last 3 chapters, to get the throuple.Yeah it's completely nonsensical. From what I remember he starts getting intimate with Mallory, much sooner than he does with Jaye. Him and Jaye are still very confused about their feelings at that point when you're expected to full on reject Mallory to get a poly path.If Jaye had laid down an ultimatum at that point, something like 'if you want to be with me, then you have to not be with anyone else', and MC/Player was able to make a choice like 'I really like Mal, but I can't mess up what I have with Jaye'.
Then, the whole Jaye changing her mind and be willing to accept a poly relationship at the end would have made a lot more sense to me.
Yeah, like I said, from a gameplay and player experience perspective it's not great.True. However, Jaye and MC are not-step-siblings and Mal is their not-mother-clone. If we could have had Tara, I would ditched Jaye in a heartbeat, if we had to choose. From what I remember he starts getting intimate with Mallory, much sooner than he does with Jaye. It's also kinda brutal for Mallory IMO, they are laying in each other's arms after sex and you're just expected to be like "Nah sorry not interested." I always thought that the "open" path had alot of promise with both but all there was was disappointment.
Also I could accept Jaye wanting a poly relationship instead of a throuple if we hadn't already seen Jaye and Tara together. That's another disappointment and almost a crime, no Jaye and Tara threesome...anyway I disgress..
There was a lot of pressure from the fan base to make a throple path, iirc it was not foreseen by the dev team.Yeah, this was a top 15-20 avn for me, but how they did the throuple path is just so dumb. Just tell the girl you don't like or care for her, then ignore her romance for like the last 3 chapters, to get the throuple.
I just don't know how the devs could make a stupid convoluted, brain dead decision like this. And yeah, the epilogue may be fine, but the method to get there will always leave a bad taste in my mouth.
I still plan on checking out their new game, but I wonder how they will ruin that too, after this game.
we still have a conversation about your LI taste pending......If we could have had Tara, I would ditched Jaye in a heartbeat, if we had to choose.![]()
