Bro, did you quote the wrong post or something? I was pointing out that Jaye being uberly taken with the MC is much more of a constant than the opposite (at least in the present day), and also that Chapter 5 thinned way too much the divide between the low/high routes considering how much the MC can do to stomp on their relationships up to that point, and you coming at me with essays on Jaye and why she acts the way she does. This topic has been going back and forth for a few days, mate. I'm not critcizing you or anything. But Jaye's reaction seeing what happened at her party and how Alex left her without saying a word is believable. A lot of people say Jaye is impulsive, fiery and at times unreasonably angry. They aren't wrong, the description fits her. But it's just how she is.
Can you imagine - Jaye is at her parents' funeral, the loss was unexpected and came out of nowhere like a lightning bolt from the clear sky. She is grieving - her parents, the people who helped her all her life are dead. The people that she respected are dead. The people who protected her are dead. Her family is shattered - her parents are gone and her step-brother, who she always saw as more and made her feel like nobody else before her is somewhere away and she feels guilty about it. But then she sees Alex again, for the first time after 6 years when she thought that he'd never return again and the feelings she felt were lost overwhelm her.
When she thought all was lost, there was Alex - she will hold onto him and they will wreak vengeace. Everyone that had a finger in shattering their family - Christian, Prizer and everyone else that stands in their way. At that point, Jaye may as well marked Alex as hers. The bonds of the past tie them even closer. With each past chapter, Jaye marks the MC as hers.
She is strong, she knows that every battle is hard won. One thing she never understands is why Alex never contacted her. Then Tara comes in with the help as the legendary wingman that she is. Alex reveals that he blocked himself on her phone. Oh, shit everything clicks into place.
BTW, I find Jaye very similar in terms of personality to Aela from the Companions in Skyrim.
And what the hell's Aela from Skyrim got to do with anything
Honestly, my heart has never been more broken. PreachyLocust from the porn forum won't engage me. Sobbing in the club.Dude to be honest it's not hard to tell you're just baiting reactions. I too would engage, but your "takes" or opinions or whatever are so far removed from anything I find rational or understandable, it becomes hard to... No offense. I take it you don't like Tara or Jaye...anyone else? Is Mallory more up your alley? Do you like anything about this game?
