I can't understand how to start the 2nd route of the game it says it triggers from the basement but there's no one there I've already completed the whole game once so can anyone give me a hint.

You need to go there immediately after the game starts ng+. If you talk to the prince you can't do it that run.

In the start, she worries about her husband cheating on her, and yet a few minutes in she jumps on the idea of jerking off the prince, then apologizes because she felt frustrated or something.

I mean, I'm not looking for realism, but... come on

To be fair the game does start to imply as it goes on that she's being mind controlled but after only doing the first route and the first quest of the second it really never explained how or who started doing it to her(It also seemed to vaguely imply a bunch of the other characters like her husband and the queen for example was being manipulated in the same way but I don't know if that was intentional or not).
