I mean annoyance of them bringing her back aside, they really butchered her design visually.
Ai in Halo wearing '' clothes '' is just weird imo, I remember in Halo 4 when they had that male ai wearing some WW2 pilot attire and it felt very bizarre to me.
Feels like some weird shit Zuckerberg would come up with to try and be wacky.

Cortana basically looking like she's made out of matrix code was just way more interesting and fit the ambiguity with her being ai but also so human ( as in actually conscious not irl bullshit pseudo ai ).
Putting her in clothes just makes her look like a random person speaking over holo rather than a machine.

The '' discourse '' around her being sexualized was just weird too imo, she basically looks like she's in a full bodysuit or is made out of code.

The AI in Mona Lisa was based on Athena, so had a togue a shield and a spear.
The one in Heart of Midlothian is an old lady.
But Cortana H2-H3 was absolute peak

Yeah emphasis on personality tho, visually I just found it odd.
Ai basically looking like they were made out of code just made more sense to me thematically.

What they did later felt like they threw ambiguity out the window entirely and what some tech CEO would do not the military.
