Finished the first update just now and i have to say, pretty well done. There's plenty of great looking girls and also guys who could interact with them in all sorts of ways and i can see some potential for some dramatic scenes. Movers for instance feel like they will try to either corrupt the two girls or make them do some nasty stuff, which i hope it can be avoided because im personally not really into the whole corruption/blackmail stuff. One thing to note, im not sure who the main MC is, i think its Elena since we get some options to chose for her but not sure. Also as for choices, it would be better if they state in general what the outcome of the choice would be instead of just ''be kind'' or ''be demanding''. Something like ''tell her to undress in front of everyone'' or ''its fine for now'' as an example where that one girl was shy about changing in front of the girls.

Other than that, great work and i hope you keep at it, it has potential for sure.

Hi LoGyMW,

Thank you very much for your feedback!
I completely agree—a lot of people have mentioned feeling a bit lost at the beginning, unsure of who the main character is. I hope this improves with the next update, as it will focus more on Elena. While I still want players to have the freedom to influence the fates of other characters, I plan to keep Elena central to the story. I'll see how it goes and make adjustments if needed.

As for stating the outcomes of choices, that's a great idea! I'll look into how I can implement that.

Thank you for playing!

Thanks! I will try to find another one for the next release then, thank you for the feedback.
No issue with the other musics?
Hey, sorry for late reply, busy 'n stuff :)
Idk, there was some other familiar stuff, but not as annoying as the tune I mentioned.
I also found it not so fitting for the scene(s) it was playing in - made the whole experience somewhat bland IMO (it's such a generic/dull tune to my ears).

How's progress going? (-edit: I'll check the weekly report(s) ;))

I see what you mean. I'll try to find a better one—maybe something less noticeable would work well for this part, I think.

The work is going well! I just got a bit caught up in managing too many choices and variables, but nothing I can't handle. :)
There will be a new version soon, as expected, before the end of the month!

I have a question: do you think being kind leads to being submissive?

I'm wondering if I should change the kindness value to submissiveness or add a submissiveness value alongside it.
I’d prefer to keep things simple but also realistic. For example, when Elena asks Christelle to stop pushing Anna, or when she is understanding about Anna not wanting to change her clothes in front of the others, these actions are currently categorized as Kindness. Would it make sense for these situations to also increase Elena’s submissiveness?

no the only time the sub value should apply is when she is challenged on her authority... and either she backs down or loses the challenge out right. So and example would be: she gives the the girls the girls freedom to do something, but one presses for even more, if she gives in, then that would be a sign of submissiveness... or maybe someone breaks the rules, if she does nothing, that would be seen as weakness... on flip side, maybe you have an event where they meet a rival school and somekind of challenge is made or bet.. if she backs away completely or loses that could be seen as weakness...

The best way ive seen this type of game done, is in conversations, provide a good amount of possible responses ranging from complete bitch to strict or kind to weak and pathetic answers... im not saying you have to render out every response different, but just change the wording and provide stats that reflect the choice made...then when you get to main events, change them and provide different outcomes based on how the player played.... if she was to much of a bitch, it could mean her own people around her dont like her and actively sabotage her... if she was way to nice and weak, she could be seen as easy to push around and take advantage of.

Right, then maybe instead of having only Kindness VS Dominance, I can also have 2 duality concepts:
- Kindness VS Harshness
- Submissive VS Dominant

Kindness vs Harshness
This duality reflects how the protagonist is perceived by her team and how she interacts with them. It defines whether she leads with empathy, support, and understanding (Kindness) or with severity, strictness, and tough love (Harshness).

Implications:
  • Kindness: Fosters trust and emotional connection with the team. The group may feel valued and more willing to support her emotionally, but this approach risks undermining her authority if taken too far or perceived as weakness.
  • Harshness: Commands respect and enforces discipline. The team might follow her out of fear or a sense of obligation, but it can also breed resentment and cause fractures in relationships.
Examples in Gameplay:
  • Kindness: Encouraging a struggling teammate with gentle reassurance.
  • Harshness: Criticizing the teammate sharply to motivate them to improve.

Submissive vs Dominant
This duality focuses on the protagonist’s personal dynamics in relationships, sexual encounters, and confrontations. It measures whether she yields and adapts to others’ desires and demands (Submissive) or asserts her control and dominance over situations and people (Dominant).

Implications:
  • Submissive: Creates moments of vulnerability, showing a softer, more compliant side. This approach can build intimacy with certain characters or diffuse tension but may lead to being taken advantage of in some scenarios.
  • Dominant: Demonstrates strength and control, asserting her desires and boundaries. While this can inspire admiration or fear, it can also push others away if perceived as overbearing or aggressive.
Examples in Gameplay:
  • Submissive: Letting a partner take the lead in a romantic encounter or agreeing to someone else’s plan in a confrontation.
  • Dominant: Dictating the course of events in a relationship or insisting on her way during an argument.

How They Work Together:
These dualities interact to create a multidimensional character. For instance:
  • A Kind and Submissive character might nurture trust but struggle to command authority.
  • A Harsh and Dominant character could lead with power but alienate allies.
  • A Kind and Dominant character might strike a balance between empathy and leadership, inspiring loyalty without fear.
  • A Harsh and Submissive character could surprise others with a mix of compliance and tough love, creating unique relationship dynamics.
That could lead to four distinct endings depending on Elena's alignment (not counting smaller events that might also influence the outcomes).

Haha, that reminds me of D&D alignments! But I can't make it that complex :D

Waiting for this VN to develop further. Always thought a “Bring it On” type parody or similar would make an interesting naughty VN. I mean it is ripe for all sorts of choices and shenanigans. Not sure if that is the intent of this Dev or not. Regardless, I’ll keep monitoring this one to see what direction it takes.

Thanks. What do you mean by "bring it on" type parody? Do you have any example?

I was referring to the 2000 movie “Bring it On.” Yikes, that was 24 years ago. Anyhow, that was immediately what I thought of when I saw this VN come out. If unfamiliar, you may want to check it out. There’s a competition, new head cheerleader struggles leading, boyfriend cheats on her, there are rival cheerleading teams etc. Ripe with avenues to explore in a saucy VN.
