Anyone having the link of the game?
I assume you haven't read through the last few years worth of comments (which is only about a page worth).
The game was abandoned a very long time ago. Someone decided to remake the game from scratch. The person doing so is taking a while to do it due to various different reasons. You can read through the small amount of comments and learn what is actually going on.

In answer to your question, no, nobody has any links to the original game OR the newer version of the game, because there are no links to share. Any older links are likely expired, by now. And the recent version is not even ready to be played.

I honestly had forgotten about this. lol
Not gonna lie. I thought you went M.I.A.
I know very little, to nothing, about game development, engines, and stuff. But, it is good to see you are still up and running.
Unreal Engine 5 for this... and 5 years of development. :PogChamp: Ohoho, I am impressed!
Definitely it will be a massive FP shooter.
It's time to kill Call of Duty!

Part time, unpaid game development is not the same, in any way, to a huge development company with tons of employees.
Us normal people, with hobbies, have normal lives with normal jobs and families and other more important things to do.

Tried but doesn't work.
It's for the ridiculously older version, though. That version is buggy, if it even still exists in those links anymore.
It's buggy, and bad, and incomplete.
I wouldn't even waste time with it, tbh.

Any development on this game, over the last few years, has been another person just basically tinkering with a remake.

Yeap, meanwhile The Big Swap - 9 months in dev, 6 updates were released, 7 hours of real gameplay. Or Succubus Contract - perfect art quality made on DAZ, 2 seasons now playable, high quality remake made.
Rational planning and the right choice of engine are the main keys to success, regardless of whether you are a large company or an individual developer.
RPGM is "Skyrim for beggars" - you will only need it if you are creating a game with a fully interactive map.
Twine - for text-based games.
Ren'Py - for visual-based choice-driven games.
UE - for 3D Action-based games.
Unity - only if you really need a lot more abilities than an RPGM or Ren'Py can provide.
GODOT - for get a lot of negative reviews :) .

UE + 5 years of silence is 100% guarantee that this "remake" will never see a daylight.

All of that is still not relevant to the current situation of this particular game, though.
I've played plenty of games like you describe, and yes, a single person can steadily create great games and do regular updates, if that is how they choose to spend their time.
But, this game, in it's original form, was long gone before the other person decided to create a new version.
That new version didn't start out in UE. It started out in either RPGM or Ren'Py (can't remember and don't wanna go search lol).
After a few posts about struggles, the new "dev" decided to scratch that and swap to UE.
There was a learning curve, that they posted about.
There was then that long period of silence that you mentioned.
Thing is...this person is likely involved in other stuff in life that prevents them from giving enough time to this to actually matter.
At no point have I ever thought this would even be finished. I do follow the thread so I get a notification any time someone posts here. And of course I will always read it lol.
If anything DID get updated, I definitely would play it just to see where it's at, cause I liked the game.
And the thread DOES still have the abandoned tag, so no real expectations. But, I will follow just because...boredom? Maybe? lol

So I was right in each my post but you keep attacking me...
...Why, Mr. Anderson? Why do you do it? Why keep fighting? Do you believe you're fighting for something?..
The context of that "maybe" had to do with me following this out of boredom, as I said in the part you dubbed "something."
Nothing is a "100% guarantee" as you said.
