I've been looking at games sit still in time for years now, and yea, a lot of them just die outright, but I've seen a couple surprisingly survive years with nothing. I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than hopeful, but I like the guys here, seem like good people, so hey, maybe I just like talking.

The beta for the new Twisted World update is out so I'd say anything is possible at this point
I am kinda curious... to know from all of you where you can get CHKN without paying or do i have to pay up? Since i still have life and struggle a bit rn so i kinda wanna know how you guys get the latest version and how i can play the Halloween one and how i get into discord for free maybe? Or other methods? Idk.. need to save my money for rent and stuff ofc but i still do support the dev and those who work on the game

You shall not pirate the CHKN. There is no point. What we have is the latest version. Halloween hasn't been released. For news, just wait for Vegeta's kid to pull up. He always brings the news.

As far as I can tell from recent talk from Vanny, the infamous save screen isn't taking 10 whole seconds as well as any other major fps problems
We know for a fact the game is being worked on, just so many mini things to fix that's holding Vanny back from updating the game because god forbid RPGM do anything good

I wonder if they still have all the halloween stuff sorta made or if they have to redo a lot of it due to changes in the game itself. Because they genuinely could just put all of that into this Halloween. Idk how much they still have to do in terms of pure volume but, 3 months seems reasonable for an update. Wouldn't complain if it was sooner or later tho.

We’ll probably get it this Halloween if I had to guess — it was originally being worked on last Halloween, so by now it should be mostly done (or fully done), especially since it’s more of a side minigame than a major part of the core story.
Either way, here’s hoping we finally see that update sometime soon. One bit of good news is that Vanny has said this next update will be made available to people who supported and then unsubscribed, so folks like me who dropped out after a long wait will still be able to check it out.
Just a heads-up for anyone else lurking: I’d recommend holding off on resubbing unless it looks like regular content is actually back on track. No hate — just saying it’s smarter to be conservative with support until things become more consistent again.
