so apparently there's been a progress report on the discord, but if you want to see it you need to be on the patreon, so as of now there is still no un-paywalled info on anything, and no updates released yet. but the dev is talking again so who knows, maybe we'll actually get some news. still wouldn't recommend shelling out any cash tho.

Vintage Story is a pretty good survival game, kinda hardcore and grindy at times, but it's well integrated into the whole ecosystem. And Hytale seems to be around the corner, considering it's revival and the new gameplay footage.

A completely different thing would be Dead as Disco, only demo form now, but it's like Batman Arkham meets BPM:Bullets Per Minute. You can add custom songs and synch them in game to match the fight with the beats.

You mean the codes you can enter before starting a game? None of them actually do much. They are in this thread somewhere if you really care but it's mainly just: A few healing items, an armour that gives health but increases heat and a hardmode. No extra porn or anything.

its one dude making the stuff and looking at the progress reports hes honestly doing pretty good
game dev takes a long time with the many steps there are to making a game
even games with actual dev teams take months to pump out new versions with new content
rn yeah no reason to shell out money there hasnt been new content in ages but i dont doubt hell update a new version in the next month or two
im not saying its definite hes gonna upload but i lwk feel optimistic about it

Ehhhhhh, I mean, most updates are remotely small and come out on a monthly/bi-monthly basis. It ultimately depends on how much this update will have to determine if it's worth a year or more of not much publicity. Progress reports actually would of been helpful as it shows how big of an update it will be or if the halloween update is even gonna be included. I mean ultimately, getting an update will be more like a "oh cool, that one thing" than a "FINALLY, GOD HAS ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS", ya know? If I can gurantee anything in life, it's gonna be more fnaf porn.
