I tried downloading the Mac version, but whenever I unzip the file and try to launch it I get message about the file being corrupted. Anyone has a fix for this?

I get the same flickering issue sometime at the start. Sometime, it happen after the game freeze for a second and othertime it randomly happen. I just close the game and reopen it.

Do you have > 60hz monitor? I have same problems on my freesync monitor.

Usually limiting game to 60 hz or turning off freesync will help.

I had the issue with flickering playing on laptop, because game by default uses intel integrated chipset, solved it by running with nvidia card.

Thanks for the tip! I switched it to the graphics card and now the flicker is gone.

What is phone mode in the settings/stats page and at the beginning of the game if I don't put anything in Tom and Carrie's relationship box when I start is it automatically brother and sister? And if I specifically put in the box Brother and Sister what happens?

Maybe I'm stupid but i can't do anything in this game. I eat do two studies and then I can only go outside and buy more food but not eat it. Any help?

I have the same problem except at the beginning they take me to a screen where the two save slots are with the ramen. I can't leave that page without eating the ramen... is there a way to leave without eating it? Also I start the game with $199. So I can't by more ramen and I can't find a job to get more money. How do I get past this? Tried to buy the ramen anyway and I lose $2.


Ugh skip the underlined part. Just figured out the ramen is $2. I don't know why that comma is there instead of a dot but it confused me. Just got the job too.

As a total noob with a windows laptop, how do I open the game? I extracted the files into my downloads, but all I'm finding are folders. Is there a client I'm supposed to be using? Also I downloaded the newest version from his website, but before I'd extracted it winrar was saying the files had last been modified in december. Am I actually getting the newest version? thanks

Some creators restart the whole game with a new engine or just convert it with nothing new.
GDS still pushes out 11 new scenes with it.
At this point GDS became the standart for me to which I measure other creators.

May I ask something about the save editor?
Everytime I use it (try to load a slot or change the value of money, for example) I got errors like this:

**Edit* figured out the issue I was having, Tried to go from an old save, from the same version, best bet is to start a brand new game( though if you've unlocked any acheivements before, they'll still be around), I went through till she got banged on the beach, slept, saved in the first slot, closed, opened the editor and on the top right and picked save 1 and all the stuff i just did in the game i just started, popped up and then i could make the changes and apply, hit backup as well as save and both were confirmed, loaded the game back up, picked the first save and all the changs I made in the editor were there, if that helps.
