I downloaded this game a few days ago, I was looking forward to playing it. It had a few bugs, but then I noticed it was a first attempt, and he got further than a lot do. He took a chance and it fell flat. I am sad to see this game being abandoned because some people cannot just allow people to try and get better. I could see people nitpicking if he had a Patreon or Subscribestar and had money coming in. It was just something he decided to do, though. I could just bash him and say it is just a story much like tons of other VNs, but that is okay. If we look at, most successful things are just copies of other works. I wish reinman well though, good try and sad to see you stepping away from your game. I doubt any of these trolls and haters would ever try and put anything they create out because they have no spine. I will say this to the dev, is to get thicker skin, fuck all the noise. Accept the helpful criticism and move on. I will keep it watched even though it is abandoned.

Great i wanted to download this after he uploaded the patched version and now because people can't read he's crashed out and won't update here anymore smh the amount of ungrateful people complaining about a free game being bugged lmao. Feels bad for the dev getting trashed for a game still in early development. Sign me up for links in the future dev i'd even support you if you had a site to be supported on

I said that I wouldn't post in this thread other than updating the OP, but I will clarify one last thing.

Due to the feedback about the game being garbage, the bad reviews, and the bugs people bashed the game for and wouldn't give me the time to fix, I have deleted the DL links. If the game is so broken, I do not see the reason any one would want to DL it. So, since entire threads/games are not allowed to be removed, I removed the links as to not violate F95 policy. THe game was also taken to other websites and bashed. Not many are (a few are, so sorry to them) taking into consideration I was making this fucking game for FREE!!!!, it was my first game and I'm learning. Even an apology was made and the messages... Welp.... yeah....

Long story short short, everyone welcome that awesome "abandoned" tag we all love to see!

Am I abandoning the game? Nope. Will is be posted here? Only if pirated.

I will fix the game, make it fun and enjoyable, but the many facts, like people not reading previous posts, is so frustrating. Add the personal messages and emails?? I have NO IDEA how people got my personal email address. That was the line that was crossed. So, I'm done here. I'll finish the game as intended and possibly release it elsewhere.

For those who did give honest constructive criticism, pointed out bugs (not the ones who pointed the same bug 12 posts later and were to lazy to read), and the ones who gave real good input and some jokes... You are appreciated! I may send you personal messages later with DL links to give updates a try.

uhm no one would even think of using gifs... the regular animation methods are video or by using frames stitched together in sequence. but a gif??? gifs are like 256 colour or something..

What naive drivel. Sure, listen to all the negative comments and change your game into something those morons like better so that hopefully they give you good reviews instead. I'm sure that positively reinforcing the loudest complainers like that won't ever come back to bite you in the ass in any way at all, and will make the world a better place for other creators too. JFC.

reinman2001, if you do decide to continue, my suggestions would be to:

1. Bring in someone to help you filter 'the internet' and bring you
(a) positive feedback (that will help you stay motivated),
(b) constructive feedback/criticism (that may be helpful to hear even if you don't make major - or any - changes as a result), and
(c) negative feedback that is widespread/universal (and thus maybe legit) and not just individuals here and there whinging about their personal preferences.

2. Bring in someone to beta-test before posting new updates.

Getting too close to the negativity is clearly getting to you, so a filter to keep the nastier, personal side of the intewebs at arm's length would probably help a lot. Sticking with your vision and ignoring the haters is the best way to respond and neuter them by showing that they can scream all they want but nobody cares. And getting one or a few volunteers to beta-test for you makes it far more likely that bugs will get caught. You are probably too familiar with the inner-workings of the game to be an effective beta-tester yourself, so a 3rd party(-ies) that will make the same choices regular players will may be more effective when it comes to bug-checking.

Didn't get to try your game, sorry a wave of assholes ruined your passion project.

I really don't understand the condescending remarks, like if it's so easy and y'all know how it works- why not go whip up their own game then? ;P
And for how many games are on here, how in-depth the search function can be, why can they not just move on from the FREE game they clearly don't like to one they actually do? Constructive criticism is one thing.. It's not like the porn here is all so fine and high grade- some games are funded by backers but this one was not. As someone who has other creative interests I pursue and put out free releases, I empathize that someone shitting so hard on a first free project would probably discourage me from public releases in the future too.

My only advice since assholes will be assholes, is if you want you could have it posted to a site like kimochi.info or ggbases.com or similar where commenting isn't a thing and put out updates until you finish a rough version then post it somewhere like here and refine it based off fan feedback (I would just ignore the assholes tbh- let them rage and don't give them the satisfaction of getting to you).

Your decision is completely justified though, just my two cents.

The Dev needs to find away to adjust the textbox so that when we want to start over, we don't get a black screen. I like to either remove the textbox or make it clear because it gets in the way too much.
