Edit: images viewable from an active game (made an end-game save for this purpose) but not from the main menu

It appears there's something going wrong when checking the unlocked state, from the code it looks like the states are saved to the persistent file but these don't seem to get used when checking if they are unlocked or not.

EDIT: Using AON's Extended Variable Viewer, it looks like the gallery is empty when inspecting it while on the main menu. Yet the persistent states show True

Overall:
The first three chapters are solid.

Renders are very well made. No clipping or strange anomalies I could see.
Eve is quite beautiful, just like I prefer: Petite, but with just the right amount of curves.

The writing is a bit tedious. A bit flat and boring IMO. I was literally saving the game to mark my place, then taking 3-10 hours to do other things before returning. It just didn't hook me. It lacked... something... I can't explain precisely, to keep me interested.

The reason I say the first three chapters is... a few minutes into Chapter 4, an option plugs up the works for me. A non-choice. Something many love and go bonkers over, but I... well... I'm a prude when it comes to the exit.
I'd have loved to play further, butt... nope.

So IDK what happens after that, since I stopped when the thing Eve found in the drawer was revealed.

I thought this game was AMAZING! I really enjoyed the story line and how quickly if got to the point. My only criticism is the end... I was looking forward/expecting some fun with the other characters.. the fact that didn't happen really left me disappointed

Glad there's a patch that fixes that crap. Only thing equally shitty as mixing NTR and harem is calling stepcrap incest. If it wasn't for the patch I would have taken your advice and uninstalled and added this to the ignore list. The previous poster is spot on, if the goal is to simply annoy both sides of the fence as like NTR or harem it's one of those kinks you can't half-ass and do it justice.

Personally Jonesy and I would prefer people uninstall or just not get Christmas Eve or New Years Daye
if you plan to use an unofficial patch to change the story in any way. Plus it will make you look really stupid
when you move on to New Years Daye and find said patch was worthless.

The story is what it is and the characters are who they are. There is no other side to it. And NO official patch
to change things from how they were intended. If you don't like that, move on. No one will blame or judge you.
We don't care how you rate your "connoisseurship" of incest stories. Get real.

Especially if you get Christmas Eve 2.0 - which has been updated to fit the current stage of NYDe's story
continuity. I'll say it again. There is no patch Jonesy has approved or views as official in any way.
What he wrote is how he wants his story to be. Period. Not happy with that, fine. Don't sit here bitchin.
Age issue. Eve and her sisters are the age Jonesy wants them to be. He removed the ability to change that
because it did not accurately reflect what he wanted. Allowing people to change it was counter productive.
He was not forced to do it. This is probably the biggest rumor we have to deal with.
Again, there is no official or acknowledged patch for Christmas Eve or New Years Daye.
Not happy with that. Move on to one that suites your freak better. Jonesy won't change it for you.
