Yeah, I know it is not that easy or simple. I guess is just a wish from all players. I think you should adopt it because I love both games and I see some similarities, beyond the plataform. Your work is awesome, his work is awesome.
As far as I know, the dev just vanished even with a Patreon active page.
I don't know, maybe you can break his code or get an answer, once you are a respected member of this community.

I know it is not so popular to talk about other games in one thread. Still a few words about that idea.
IF someone took over "Valiant Warrior Astrid" Maelion sure would be a very good choice as quite a few fetishes are in both games (especially corruption, exhibitionism). Both DEVs would get along fine. VWA is my favourite game out here and like many others I am very sad that it is abandoned. It would be great if someone qwith a similar mindset would take it over, just pirate it.
Of course Chronicles of Leridia has a lot of unique stuff I would not wanna miss out. What Maelion did with dialogues and clothing damage during battles is the first thing that comes to my mind - I just love it. The system with tame/arousal is totally unique and just great. Storywise there are very few similarities with VWA, if any at all. No doubt that CoL has its own great story progression, and of course more than anything Maelion should please stick to that. If one day, hopefully far away, Maelion happens to finish CoL and finds himself out of ideas what to do next, a remake of VWA in his own style would just be amazing.

Hi there,
This post is intentionally shared to the public for everyone to know my feelings about the 0.4 and the future of the project.
Here we are, the next major update is about to be released in a few days. It tooks several months and you supported me so far. Thank you very much, patrons !
You are right to have high expectations about this update. The game has a bit of popularity and the content is of good quality so far.
I want to be clear about what to expect though. There're around 3/4 hours of gameplay with story, scenes and new mapping.
Some beta testers really enjoyed the update but told me they were a bit disappointed by the City of Lerid and the slums part.
So I want to say that Lerid is far from being finished yet and it is a playground for further content (slums and more).
I know people will be frustrated to see "content available in a later update" there and there. I tried to do the most as I could for a good 0.4. I could have add even more but you must release some stuff after a while or the project will never be real.
I mean that I have to release at a point the 0.4 update...even in the middle of some work, for you to play the game. Places may feel empty, brothel is not here and yes, slums may be not what you could expect (because I may have teased a bit too much by the npcs in town).
Please, do not forget I want to take my time to make something good. Scenes and poses are often unique (more than 3800 cgs in the image folder). I try to avoid to take poses already done in earlier scenes.
You know this is a game I work around 2h per day and not full time on it...
There's place for improvement. I'm adding stuff right now from beta with a new repeatable H-scene (30 more cgs).
I will add more in september and updates will come in october. I have a lot of ideas and I want to end this project with empty areas (story and map related) for side stories to add them in side content or even a new project in Leridia Universe.
0.5 content will begin shortly after 0.4 release. I want it to be the final chapter of the main story. I want to have this feeling I can end this. To stay motivated, you have to be supported but you have to end what you began 3 years ago.
Leridia was planned to be a little erotic rpg at first, for testing the software , a girl, a village, a forest...a little quest. Look what it is now. I'm sure you want it to end properly, am I wrong ?
Then once it is done, I'll be able to polish the game for a 1.0. It is now a matter of months.
See you the 26th of september for 0.4.

After beating the bandits, where do I go to find the chick that ran off to find the fat guy (I forgot their names) I checked all the caves on the same map but couldn't find them. The only one that made sense was the one at the far top left one but there was no one in there.
I think part 3 of the dark ally event is bugged too, there's just a model of him standing in front of the event circle and when I start it it freezes.
