This game annoyed me because the captain didn't set up an elastic defence to cover the withdrawal, smh the calibre of space captains have gone downhill, the space federation is over, billions must tentacle up rectum

I did everything as it was described here and I still can´t run this Game. I get a Syntaxy Error all the time.

Changed Region to japan, tried changing name encoding in WinRar, used Locale Emulator when starting, made sure the games directory doesn´t have signs in it but still no luck.

I've never used Windows 11 but that's not how you change locale. Pretty sure you can leave those settings to match your real region as well.
  1. Open the Run dialog box by pressing Win+R
  2. Type intl.cpl and press Enter
  3. Click on the Administrative tab, go to Change system locale... and select Japanese (Japan) and click OK.
  4. Reboot your PC to apply the changes.
Let me know if it works on Windows 11 as well.

Oh for f's sake... I acknowledge your trying to help, and the nicely formatted post, and yes, that's probs the/a way to change the actual system locale in W11 (I'm on W10 so wouldn't really 100% know)...

But please, just tell him to use to run the game.
No need to actually make your system change to JP locale for a dirty nukige; amirite? (or as a newer alternative, which works for x64 apllications too, )

And yes, they are absolutely safe, and a lot less intrusive/invasive than a locale change...
What am I doing wrong here?
Please read the thread next time - especially since it's not that long this case. Though I admit there are quite a few not really helpful posts, but this was in there...
You could use the search function in the top-right as well. Just sayin'.

Uh, you do realize that changing the locale simply helps in displaying programs correctly when they don't support Unicode, yes? It does nothing to your system language, it's not intrusive/invasive like you claim. The only drawback is that the \ is now a ¥, that's it. Windows downloads the Japanese fonts automatically too so you know you have the correct ones. It's a painless thing to ensure you play eroge nice and easy and literally the first thing I do when I install Windows for whatever reason.
Use your emulator, the fuck do I care lmao.
